Yes that is probably the case if there is a lot of money in the account.

As I have explained many many times, there wasn't much money in the account. Hence why I am not overly concerned about the money aspect, I am simply trying to make people aware of the scam.

Again, as I have said before, I am not posting looking for sympathy. I am trying to make sure other people are aware of the scam.

Acute Glaucoma.
It happened extremely quickly.
Literally overnight. I was not in any at risk groups for glaucoma, have no family history of eye problems. I always had great eyesight.
I had a huge headache one night that I put down to being due to the shop where I worked having a complete refit - new lighting, new epos, everything. Plus the stress of the refit. I just thought it was my very first migraine.

Went to bed early to try to sleep it off, woke up and my eyes were fckd.
One eye is completely dead (well, that's not strictly true....oh you caught me in a fib! Hee hee.) The eye still works but the optic nerve is dead. So that eye always has a huge pupil as the eye thinks it is in darkness due to the optic nerve being dead. This eye is categorised as NPL which means No Perception of Light. Equals completely black dark.

The other eye is the eye that has less than 5% sight. I have no peripheral vision and cannot see further than about 1 metre. I always explain that it is like putting a pinprick through a piece of card and looking through that, then also adding on that what you can see when doing that is also very blurred.

Am now waiting for the "I Don't believe you s" to start again. I'm used to it by now. People can't comprehend that things like that happen. Yes it is rare but it does happen. So their solution is to deny it completely and call you a liar .
And for that person to still be living and enjoying life, working two jobs, being a parent, having a happy marriage (yeah it isn't just my eyes that got fckd lol) and even being quite upbeat and matter of fact, and even quite lighthearted about it, is somewhat of a mindfck for some people.

As if I am supposed to just sit in a cupboard and be depressed and feeling sorry for myself.

Damn, dude. That just sucks for you. I've heard Glaucoma is supposed to be long term eye and eye nerve damages. Did you get one or more vaccine shots on the day your eyes went nearly totally bad for you, OP? Literal overnight Glaucoma sounds like it would be most plausible in conjunction with vaccines as they tend to do alot of overnight damages to the human body.

I had an online female friend on YIM five or so years ago. She told me that she was having issues with her eyes. That she was going darkness blind, not blurry blind from what I can remember of her. She told me that her doctors told me that it was going to hit her fast. It was rather sad to have to let her go as a friend mainly as she was no longer able to use the Internet as she used to. I wish I knew what became of her too. She was going to college, making good grades, and starting to get a really good life going on for her according to her, by the time her doctor told her she was soon to lose her eyesight for the rest of her life.

For someone who's seriously disabled, at least you're not "feel sorry for me!!" as though you're actively feeding on people's sympathy, OP. So that's good to me. Making your own contributions to society is still valuable. At least to me anyways.
