As far as the topic of your thread, and within the context, and scope, of the Amygdala Hijack, I made made thoughts known long ago.

I do not know. When I first encountered he or she long ago. I took the ~H for Harmony.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69463594

Again, within context and scope, I took their postings, as an integrated understanding of Sine-Wave.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69463594

Where were these postings you refer to? the offer thread or something?
 Quoting: K-lis

No. I think not. I might have come across one of their postings in, perhaps, an earthquake thread. They made a very ~H comment that lead to Aruna Luna. Which lead to one of her older threads.

I believe a order is always there. Hence the concept of hijack in relation to the experience of emotional intelligence. Oscillation is always key. The Spindle of Necessity. And mentioned that long ago as well.

Hmm...not sure how topical this is, but...if you spend a lot of time here, for instance, browsing the front page, refreshing it, what do you see? What gets reinforced in your mind, whether or not you are consciously consuming the content?

thread headers...stuff like, "die...emergency...fires...victims...filth...homo...liar...animal...messiah...bad...event...doom...change...cop...mace...ass...poop" etc...

that must do something to your brain...after a fashion...yunno?

What's interesting about GLP is that the main topics of discussion are literally the polar opposite of what is recommended a person discuss in 'polite company' as to not incite extreme personal offense and inflammatory defensiveness. That's part of what makes this site so neat but it also provokes adrenal stimulation constantly, which must eventually become desensitizing...

vale of tempe is more paradise lost

Their invisible prayers reached Heaven, where the Son of God covered them with incense and brought them to his father's throne.

Father, let me show you the first results of the heavenly grace you placed on man, he said.

As your priest, I bring you these sighs and prayers, mixed with incense, in this gold cup.

These are sweeter than all the delicious fruits he could have grown in Paradise before he fell.

Listen to his sighs.

He may not have the greatest skill in choosing the right words to pray with, so let me speak for him.

I'll be his advocate. I'll place my spirit in him. I'll help him perfect his good qualities, and

I'll pay for his sins with my own death.

Let me bring peace to mankind for the limited time he has to live.

I only want to soften his punishment, not eliminate it. He must die, after all.
But a better life waits for him.

Then everybody who is saved can live a new, happy life, joined with me, the way I am joined with you.

Humility is the only way to counter this
(Hence way the nobody threads are actually ancient : Ulysseus said, "I am NOMAN", nemo means nobody, the nameless one has existed as the ineffable 0 in all time, the mystery traditions honor only the seeker who rejects glory for wisdom...)

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 67990747

From your link. The solution you recommend to counter this is incomplete information. And within context and scope that piece of information actually becomes the creation of Pseudo-personality. Perhaps that is what you are attempting to define as dissociation.

"In Dante's re-telling, Ulisse is condemned to hell among the false counsellors, both for his pursuit of knowledge beyond human bounds and for his adventures in disregard of his family. (Wikipedia)"

The rabbit hole of that incomplete information presented as ancient as "the only way to counter this" is nobody is coming to help you. And that is the same scorched earth policy of annihilation theorized into practice by both East and West personified as political bodies for quite some time.

Resolution

Victims of humiliation may be able to achieve resolution through either of two paths.

The first is to reappraise the humiliating experience in some way that acknowledges the victim's strength and ability to cope with a difficult situation.

This approach increases self-confidence and diminishes the fear of humiliation.

The second path is to leave the degrading environment and find a more appreciative environment.

vale of tempe is more paradise lost

I don't know ~H. Chiron trained Achilles.

A generosity like that of the sea,
a kindness like that of the sun, and,
a humility like that of the earth.

In 1977, physicists E. C. G. Sudarshan and B. Misra studying quantum mechanics discovered that the dynamical evolution (motion) of a quantum system can be hindered (or even inhibited) through observation of the system. (Achilles and the Tortoise)

Perhaps we are really here.
