All subtitles. Marketed as horror but moreso disturbing. Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, (1973). Love this film but it is definitely creepy. The humor is very dark for children. Eyes Wide Shut, (1999). Good movie. Full of hidden symbolism. Beautifully shot with wonderful music score. Let the Right One In, (2008). Every time I attempt to watch this film in its entirety it creeps me out to the point that I have to turn it off. It always seems to be on late at night when I'm home alone. From what I've seen, it's a good one. Melancholia, (2011). Maybe not the weirdest movie Kirsten Dunst has been in (that, perhaps, goes to Eternal Sunshine...) but definitely a strange vibe. Many viewers were convinced that this was a glimpse at what the 2012 doomsday scenario would bring. |

"And how can a man die better than facing fearful odds, for the ashes of his fathers, and the temples of his Gods..." ~ Horatius "Because he told the truth, and once you've heard the truth, everything else is just cheap whiskey..." "We don't rent pigs!" |
