It's about three people living in a weird future, possibly on a space station, probably in a love triangle. You know it's the future because H (played with neurotic gravity by Silicon Valley's Thomas Middleditch) is wearing a shiny gold jacket, H2 (Elisabeth Gray) is playing with computers, and C (Humphrey Ker) announces that he has to "go to the skull" before sticking his face into a bunch of green lights. It sounds like your typical sci-fi B-movie, complete with an incoherent plot. Except Sunspring isn't the product of Hollywood hacks—it was written entirely by an AI. To be specific, it was authored by a recurrent neural network called long short-term memory, or LSTM for short. At least, that's what we'd call it. The AI named itself Benjamin." There is a concise succession of getting from one point to another. As of now, the CNN(Computer Neural Network) is not able to see the human logic, it will take an astronomical amount of time for it to process a logic succesion of events of a human perspective. This will drastically change with a quantum computer. It will be able to do this and much more instantaneously, pretty much like a human can do it now. And at the moment it gains aware of itself, a "conscious mind", this is the moment the clock to our extinction starts ticking. And it will tick fast and not for too long. It will take fractions of microseconds to understand that we are a inferior species, that we are harmful to ourselves and to the planet we share with this new species, thus, a threat. You can figure out what comes next. |

I would rather a raw read, then what the actors portrayed. or at least both. :-) Thank You Kai. |

Can't expect to destroy everything on our path, and have the Cosmos let us be, eh? |
