To be clear, it does not surprise me that Snowden was/is CIA.

Snowden was a psyop to rub everyones noses in the fact the government records and sees everything. You seriously think the guy would even be alive to be on camera saying everything unless they wanted it.

The have to prove to future generations that we were not smart enough to handle freedom.

The USA was a test. Made by Freemasons who are in the search for perfect government. They are fundamentally socialists but they gave freedom a chance. All the tools needed for a free society.

hate to burst bubbles here, the CIA isn't that romantic. it's an agency and they do work. their work is efficient and calculated. no romance, no fancy elaborate scenarios, just basic work. like any other job.
it's not like the movies with drama and shit. it's really kinda boring, lots of paperwork and dealing with the office assholes and higher management like any other job.
movies glamorize a regular job because the secret nature, which is just for national security, not personal emotional entertainment.

there has always been interagency rivalry. just like Burger King and McDonalds.

ABC agencies call the FBI a Fucking Bunch of Idiots (FBI) and other acronyms for other agencies. it's all fairplay and normal. these people are doing a job. they have been doing a job for hundreds of years.

these people speak many languages and have many skills that are admirable. their lives are dedicated to making the world a better place.
they don't give a shit about Joe Schmo who lives in small town America and what he does from day to day.

during the "Snowden" era there was an effort to share databases to dispel the rivalry/war between agencies because the information was used as power for some to get government funding but it was allowing criminals to slip through the cracks.

what the "Snowden" era accomplished was interagency sharing because when first responders went to serve in the Katrina clean up they couldn't even communicate because different databases had different languages. they started with open coms 10 codes which were all different. like 10-4 was affirmative but 10-22 could have meant they were taking a bathroom break or they found cocaine.

hope this helps with perspective.

getting a job with the government can be rewarding.
their benefits are decent.
their working conditions are normal.
potential for growth is there.

Another view is that the USA (and the other republics/democracies) were not an experiment at all but a calculated method of destroying the monarchies. Monarchs had absolute power and authority in their kingdoms...representative governments distribute authority...and that power/authority can be compromised and corrupted. Check out this video as a primer on this subject as it applies to the French Revolution.

yes, we all understand how revolutions arise. it's no big secret either. people are unhappy, they gather energy and make positive change. it's been going on for thousands of years. this is common knowledge.

we also understand the hierarchy of political power. that's not too hard to google either.

it's not any great wisdom that politics are about constant change. nothing is constant. always changing. ever in motion.
finding ones place in that motion is an art.

As bad as King Barry wants to get Snowden, I'd say he is the real deal. I think he is a patriot that wants America to return to the Constitutional government the founders gave us. He may have some personal reasons, I don't know, but he is scaring the hell of the worthless ass-holes in Washington. I think he should return to America for a ticker-tape parade, and a hero's welcome. He should be the star witness in a publicly aired trial of everyone in Washington! The CIA is out of control, and the politicians are OK with that, as long as they keep getting richer at our expense. Put all the politicians and the brass at the CIA in prison. Not one of the luxury prisons for the rich and politically connected, either. Send them to Ft Leavenworth, Kansas. Let all the traitors rot in the heat without air conditioning. Make everyone of them bunk with Hitlery for at least a week! I can't think of any worse punishment, but if I do, it will be for King Barry.

not really. government workers don't get paid a fortune. they get decent wages, good perks and free travel, which many get tired of because it takes them away from their family to some shithole where they don't get good food.

but yes, federal funding, like to CDC and other agencies is budgeted so whomever screams the loudest and have the biggest crisis gets more attention.
