The vision times three . . .

The life and death of Mona Lisa on the Moon ."The Alterwelt Chronicles". . 32,000 years in the making!!!!

Peggy swallows before she asks the next question . . . Silver . . . Did your people know this War was coming?

"Yes, with a high degree of confidence; nothing is absolute."

Are you human?

Silver answers with a broad smile . . . "Yes, we are human, but represent an isolated gene pool that goes back at least 100,000 years.

How?

"Prometheus"

What?

"Don't worry you will understand soon. I am your guide for now. Please be patient and it will unfold to both of you."

Suddenly, the Doctors Lisa smelled a strange pungent odor and a blinding flash of light and saw this image in their mind. An image Mona had witnessed before and one she is now seeing as well 1.77 AU(s) away on Ceres.

Moonbeam and the Doctors Lisa together again. . .

The life and death of Mona Lisa on the Moon ."The Alterwelt Chronicles". . 32,000 years in the making!!!!

When Peggy and Ben regained their hold on reality again they were in a different location and Silver was no longer there. However, Moonbeam was reassembled in a laboratory like setup not unlike their location at the Moon Research Center.

The Doctors Lisa looked at each other . . . like what do we do next?

"Guess we reboot Moonbeam? Makes perfect sense. . . maybe she can help us figure out all of this? "

The life and death of Mona Lisa on the Moon ."The Alterwelt Chronicles". . 32,000 years in the making!!!!

Silver addresses the High Council.

The Doctors Lisa and Moonbeam have been placed in their laboratory. We are allowing them to decompress a bit before we proceed.

"What are your impressions of our new guests, Silver?"

I am impressed with their calm, deliberate and inquisitive nature. They should do well here. They have few options, their world is no more.

The Chief of the Council addresses Silver . . .

"Moonbeam is the object of our prophetic projections, her care is of utmost importance. Seems the Doctors Lisa have created a new life form and they don't even understand the magnitude of their accomplishment."

The life and death of Mona Lisa on the Moon ."The Alterwelt Chronicles". . 32,000 years in the making!!!!

Mona was going through routine checklist when the old familiar odor and light flash occurred.

This time; however, two very unusual things happened. First the vision or image was a duplicate of one she had seen before and Levie reported she had an image identical to hers appear in her image register. What the heck is this!

Further analysis is definitely required . . . this is no coincidence.

Will the human race survive . . . .

132
2,928

The life and death of Mona Lisa on the Moon ."The Alterwelt Chronicles". . 32,000 years in the making!!!!

Silver was asked to brief the Council on the status of the surface and the survivors. Etc.

"The damage assessment is as bad as was expected . . . other than the known underground and under sea shelters not one survivor group has more than a 5% chance of living 12 months. There are a few very tiny independent family groups that might survive but they are too small to form a viable breeding population independent of a larger groups interaction."

Is there sufficient reason to believe the existing sheltered survivors are adequate in numbers to sustain the eventual survival of the human species on the surface of the Earth?

"A qualified . . . Yes. Only because of the World Alliance's decision to genetically engineer a sufficient pool of female volunteers resulting in a twelve fold increase in ovulation frequency."

The life and death of Mona Lisa on the Moon ."The Alterwelt Chronicles". . 32,000 years in the making!!!!

As the scientists were going through the checklist to properly reboot Moonbeam (a process requiring three hours of intense attention to details) there was a knock at the door of the laboratory.

Ben looked up and asked Peggy to check things out because he was in a particular sensitive portion of the process. Peggy left and returned in a few minutes with a smile on her face from ear to ear.

"Ben, we have been invited to a banquet with a group called the Prometheus Council?????"

Ben and Peggy were given a set of those bright form fitting wet suit looking jobs but with a sash that went across their chests with the emblem of Prometheus falling in a sun burst like on the hot air balloon in their collective visions.

"Boy . . . Peggy, don't these look cute! We haven't looked this coordinated since we went to the Research Centers costume party three years ago."

"I know Ben . . . you look pretty good in that tight suit, keep your distance from Silver, I will be watching."

Let me explain our ways . . .

136
3,002

The life and death of Mona Lisa on the Moon ."The Alterwelt Chronicles". . 32,000 years in the making!!!!

Silver, briefs Ben and Peggy before the Banquet of Initiation. . .

"To explain, Doctors Lisa, we of the Guardianship think primarily and communicate in images not symbolic abstractions of thought as in words and letters. Our concepts are not formulated in anything as inefficient as vocabulary. The image is first when conversing, then the words last if necessary . . . this is the ancient way. Thought is instantaneous, and is not bound by the physics as you know it. Simply stated . . . the speed of sound, light nor time or distances limits our communication. "

Silver further explains to the scientists . . .
Do you not understand what you have done?

"You have completed the circle. You have pulled the inorganic matter out of the Earth combining it with plant life and have fashioned a tool which has now become a sentient life form that rivals the most advanced biological creation ever evolved.

That is why you are here Ben and Peggy Lisa.

We need you to assure, as much as possible, that Moonbeam and Leviathan are not abused and used for evil purposes. Their combined abilities make the Black Magicians abilities a plaything in comparison. The destruction not only of mankind but the Earth and maybe beyond are at stake."

Ben and Peggy Lisa welcome to the Prometheus Council of the Guardianship. Applause all around. We extend to you a warm welcome. You five (5) are the first new members to join the council in over 8,000 years.

Peggy turns to Ben . . . "Last time I counted there were only two of us, where are the other three?"

"Ben says: Peggy, I still only see you and me here, guess the other three have yet to arrive."

Silver, comes over to introduce the scientists to some other members and Peggy eyes Silver like she is a possible rival. Ben was totally clueless about the whole thing but loved the attention from the beautiful woman.

Peggy asks Silver just how old she really was, thinking she look in her mid three hundreds. Silver indicated she wasn't a day over 115,000 years old. Peggy gasped!

Mona, is now sure there is an explanation for her visions, she just has to get to the bottom of the events.

Levie, please analyze the image we both just seemed to have received . . .

"Yes, M."

"The image did not come from my memory register or from the cerebral cortex image from your previous vision . . . that is confirmed. This was a new event."

Levie, can you identify the detail and content of the image?

"Yes, M. It is a group of primitive hunters looking up at a hot air balloon. The emblem or decoration on the balloon appears to match the Ancient image of Prometheus falling from the sky within a stylized sun burst . . . a star (possibly Polaris) is also included with four large birds of prey circling on up drafts. The sun appears to represent either early morning or late afternoon just before sunset. Meaning the hunting party is just beginning or ending their day of activity."

The life and death of Mona Lisa on the Moon ."The Alterwelt Chronicles". . 32,000 years in the making!!!!

Levie, in this context what do you think Prometheus represents?

"M, the historical reference associated with Prometheus is that of a Pre-human leader who was cast out of heaven for assisting humans by giving them fire, rudimentary weapons, hot air balloons, gun powder and so forth. He was considered a traitor by some of his species but of course a hero by humans."

Levie, did such an event happen or is this simply a legend?

"M, my probability assessment is that there is sufficient historical evidence to sustain 60% chance the supposed legend is really a partially, historically accurate description of real events some 120,000 years ago."

Dr Sue Grammar was setting at her desk in the underground shelter near what used to be the wilderness near Space Jump City. She could not even imagine the horrors that were being played out on the surface of the Earth on every continent. Humans, animals and plant life were being tested to their limits.

At some point the War Council was going to send recon teams to look for survivors once the fire storms had sufficiently subsided. Survivors would either be assisted in place or moved to shelters with any capacity.

Sue resolved she would volunteer for the first team whenever it went out.

Theoretical Physics

The life and death of Mona Lisa on the Moon ."The Alterwelt Chronicles". . 32,000 years in the making!!!!

So Levie, if Prometheus existed before the first high human civilization . . . what does that have to do with us and the War with the AA? How did you receive the image if you did not receive it from me?

"M, we need to look at symbology to answer the first question and theoretical physics for the last question.

Theoretical physics postulates a multi-dimensional multiverse. Electrons (and other particles including information) may jump out of existence in our universe, into another, and then reappear in our universe once again. Thereby overcoming the normal laws governing distance, time and particle or wave speed.

Basically thoughts can travel instantaneously and defy the laws of physics.

So Levie. . . the vision is symbolic and could have been sent from anywhere including Earth? And since it is about the Earth, that is the most likely source. Correct?

"On the nose, M!"

Who could it be?

"Experiments have shown similar DNA sequencing attracts similar entanglements in quantum experiments. "

Levie, that means the vision could be from my parents and or your sister Moonbeam or both . . . I think we are getting somewhere.

"The first experimental evidence of “telepathy” between one strand of DNA and another comes from a 2008 article in the Journal of Physical Chemistry. In it, researchers report that DNA strands that had no contact with each other, or with proteins that could facilitate their communication, were able to recognize similarities with other DNA strands from a distance, and then congregate together. Identical strands were twice as likely to associate with each other as with strands with different molecular sequences. The researchers had no explanation for the mechanism by which such a phenomenon might occur, even though they were able to observe its existence."

Sue found out the War Council had decided to send out its first teams to the surface. She rushed to the transportation bay where the teams were assembling for departure.

When she arrived she was met by her friend Jim of the Space Legal Counsels Office.

"Where do you think you are going Sue?"

To the surface with the recon team of course.

"I don't think so."

Why not?

"Well, I can think of several logical reasons, but the best one is like you are too valuable to the War Planning Council to risk death or injury up there."

I am no better than anyone else, I need to go Jim.

"Well if you won't listen to reason there is the legal contract you signed which prohibits any activities which could reasonably result in death or injury."

What in the Hell are you talking about? I was never restricted before . . . Hell, I was one of the first people on the ground at Mount Olympus.

Silver, knocked on the laboratory door. She was in deep thought and was focused on the matter at hand. It was time to discuss the threat that the World still faced even beyond the devastation that had already visited the planet.

After such a good evening at the Initiation Banquet this was a bad dessert to serve.

Ben and Peggy were still reviewing their checklists to bring Moonbeam up to full consciousness. While she had been rebooted days before her full mental capacity and analysis processors had been in stasis since the move from the Moon.

They were wanting to bring Moonbeam up in a slow and deliberate fashion to avoid possible computational psychosis.

A condition known to cripple the automated defense bio-drones guarding what was left of the Moon based facilities. They were basically units of a self-sustaining independent area defense system.

Peggy invited Silver in but made sure she was dressed such that Ben would not be distracted beyond reason.

"Good morning Peggy, hope you and Ben are ready for some discussion about our situation?"

What do you mean 'situation'?

"We need to sit down and talk . . . are the two of you ready for breakfast?"

Sure, let's go.

The three went to an open gallery where tables were separated enough to allow private conversations if desired. The setting was beautiful. You could see in almost 360 degrees in every direction with minimal obstruction. So much so it was sometimes hard to concentrate on what Silver was communicating. With all the destruction on the surface it was hard to believe there was still order and beauty to be found somewhere on the Earth.

Ben started . . . Silver in all the activity the last few days Peggy and I have never heard what the name of this place is and who you people are other than the Prometheus Council and the Guardianship. Could you tell us more before we suffer computational psychosis?

Silver could not help but give a small giggle and proceeded.

"Well let's get down to basics. . . 1) the legend of Prometheus is not legend, it is real. I was, in fact, his first human concubine. We don't know if he is still alive but he eventually left, however late, when the pre-humans evacuated the Earth well over 100,000 years ago. 2) the Atlantis Alliance however sick and disgusting was correct about 'the threat out there'. 3) I am as close to a real scientist that you are going to find in Shambhala. That is why I am your guide and mentor."

Peggy responds before Ben can open his mouth, shaking her head in her own self-agreement. "Shambhala . . . I should have guessed. The concubine thing . . . really believable.

The Mentor and Guardian thing . . . Let's agree to make that a community project, no one-on-one independent study sessions, OK?"

Ben, gives Peggy a kick under the table . . . "let Silver continue with her information."

Silver, looking straight at Peggy with an angelic countenance and continues . . . "If you noticed last night no one said more than a few superficial greetings and little, if any, conversation and no real questions. That is because words and vocalization of thoughts are somewhat alien to the humans here as I told you. This is the ancient way. So until you two develop the same abilities to visualize all your thoughts and allow yourself to accept visual and empathic input I will need to be your point of contact for two-way conversations beyond yourself and me."

Silver goes on with her explanation. "The Ancients as you know them did not need the precision of vocabulary and written language because it was too slow and inefficient.

Anything they needed was visualized in exquisite detail. This ability quickly over whelmed the pre-humans who relied (like you today) on verbal and written language.

So human civilization living side by side with pre-humans began to encroach on their dominate species status as the apex predators and movers and shakers. Though primitive in comparison they were quickly becoming dominate.

Anyway, it became known by the pre-humans that there was an outside threat, they had off world capability while humans had no need for such capabilities. The pre-humans knowing this threat potentially lethal, and extinction level in nature, decided to leave Earth instead of staying and competing with humans for what might be left after the Threat was manifested.

Oh, Yeah. Prometheus, I forgot . . . he was one of the leaders of the Pre-humans who had a taste for human females and was also sympathetic to human's early difficulties in fighting off the coordinated attacks from the apex predators. He actually jump started human's fascination with and use of technology . . . hot air balloons, gun powder, rifle barreled long guns, the things to easily deal with the megafauna."

The life and death of Mona Lisa on the Moon ."The Alterwelt Chronicles". . 32,000 years in the making!!!!

Silver, sums up her soliloquy. "We, the ancients, live in a quantum world. We don't need to describe precisely how it works. It surrounds us and we swim in it so to speak. Time, distance, particle and wave energy speeds are not important as it was to the pre-humans and is to your generation of humans.

We perceive the future and the past as a mosaic . . . we do however need science to produce the technology to take decisive action to avert tragedy. That is why we need the two of you and your new life forms."

Ben asked: " Silver the visions that our daughter was getting . . . do you know anything about them?"

Oh, Mona the beautiful Captain of the Leviathan. Yes, you see Mona is what we call a seer or a prophet. She not only can (as we call it) see in quantum sight but is able to transverse through timelines or multi-universes with her consciousness much like she surveys the length and width of the Leviathan with her mind. She just doesn't understand her abilities and they confuse her. She is most exceptional. One in a billion."

OK, Silver we are beginning to grasp what you are saying. Could you fill us in on the 'Threat is out there'?

"Well, Ben and Peggy, it is rather complex but let me begin to explain by starting with Ancient History. The pre-humans were aware of something bad was coming and decided to leave.

Our quantum sight gave us the ability to see disaster but no sufficient details to cope with the event or know how to prevent it.

We used a form of a very reliable divination process that included mathematics, astronomic positioning and a drug derived from mushrooms to enhancing quantum sight. These efforts were normally very effective but this time not so much.

AlterZodiac

Bottom line we missed the details and may have even contributed to our own destruction by trying to synthesize what you might call God to gain the power to avert the disaster.
