Since the confrontation with the Fog people, Dr Dearborn and her husband Sam1 had been able to take the capabilities of the Federation’s Flying Diamond and incorporated them into the human genome. It was only limited by a significant power source and the interface of these new capabilities within a control mechanism humans or other species could reliably manipulate.

This gave a single human automatic quantum voice and vision capabilities. It also gave them limited quantum leaping and jumping capabilities. They were able to tap into the human life force to do a limited subset of things. For example: a human so modified could physically leap between the MotherShips or LeviathanV to the surface of Dragon World and return. It could give them cloaking abilities. They could decompress at will up to five days in duration without re-compressing. It could give any human limited telekinetic capabilities which would be useable on Shadowland Missions.

The result was the Federation now had a potential Army which could perform missions that only Harmony and Genesis could have performed before and then only with the assistance of a transmission source and the power of a MotherShip.

Lars2 volunteered to be the first Amphibian to be so modified. Mona and Harry were the first humans. The stage was being set to transform a planet of Hell into a livable and beautiful cacoon of life.

Mona could now send many disguised crew members to the surface if a crisis required it without using ships or other methods.

Darcy had been anesthetized and brought to the Command MotherShip. She was genetically modified and now had the same capabilities as Lars2. She was returned to the planet and Lars2 quantum jumped to her position near New Hope. There he schooled her on her new abilities.

Sam1 and Dr Dearborn, spied in on their progress. Darcy being quite inquisitive and very intelligent took to her new abilities like a duck to water. She was important to “The Plan.” After Darcy was confident with her abilities and coached closely by Lars2, they were going on a mission together.

Gregory and all eight Cavalry Divisions were now in New Hope. Meanwhile, Harmony and Genesis knew Queen Luna and the Amphibian King were to meet with Gomer. However, before the meeting they intercepted Gomer and temporarily imprisoned her before she could arrive.

DWGomer

While Gomer was delayed, Lars2 and Darcy met with the Amphibian Royalty instead. Harmony and Genesis were at the meeting as well. They appeared as two blue spheres in the dark cavern.

Lars2 confronted Luna the Queen and Sun Blaze III, King of Amphibians. His (Lars2) appearance with the young human Darcy was quite the shock. Luna the brains behind the Crown was furious. She yelled: “I thought you were dead you old fool, it is just like you to parade around with a pitiful human child as your cohort.”

Lars2 just smiled and told the two Royals their reign was about to end. He also said: “However, the servants of the Creator will give you (Luna and Sun Blaze) one more chance if you reject Gomer as your object of worship. Darcy is restraining her (Gomer). Darcy is a powerful Seer and a dangerous enemy. She has been given the power to destroy Gomer, her Demons and your Amphibian Army.”

Darcy wavers her hand and shows Gomer being restrained by two enormous hands. She waves her hand again and shows 8,000 dragons and riders flying into battle in one formation.

Darcy states: “Your reign of terror is over. My brother leads an Army of Dragons that will decimate your Army. You have one choice, you may share in the governance of this world or be crushed and removed in disgrace.”

She continues: “You must reject Gomer and all she represents. She is a vile Demon and we cannot coexist with her nor you, unless you embrace the worship of the one True Creator and respect the sanctity of all sentient life. You must do this or you will be banished to a harsh and isolated location where you will eke out a miserable existence until you die. Lars2 and I are leaving and Gomer will be allowed to meet with you. You have free will to make your choice, choose wisely!” Lars2 and Darcy quantum jumped to New Hope. Harry and Mona disguised were there when they appeared.

He ordered them to collect all those within the Palace and bind their hands behind them.

Harmony and Genesis released Gomer once they were notified the meeting between Luna and Sun Blaze had ended. Gomer now dazed and confused was not sure what had happened. The Sisters had used a neuro-stun energy wave to disrupt her memory and the Demons around her.

RoyalAmphibian

She appeared in the cavern like nothing had happened. She did her dog and pony show bringing with her a dragon who had been possessed and controlled. It was rather impressive. The two Royals were disoriented but did not alter their normal behavior. They bowed deeply and went to their knees. Both saying: “Gomer your grace how may we be of service?”

Gomer responded: “Get up you fools. We are ready to destroy New Hope but you have not supplied the sacrifices. Where is my feast? I told you what was necessary. Are you incompetent, are you deaf, do you wish I should torture you and dine on your flesh? There are others that would be glad to do my bidding!”

Luna responded: “My Goddess we have struggled to collect your feast because all our trusted troops are marching toward New Hope. It is taking longer than was expected. Please be patient?”

Gomer responds: “Patience is not an option. I and my Demons are famished. You will bring me one hundred of your servants and sniveling relatives immediately. I will slaughter them in front of you now. My dragon will rip their bodies apart one by one. Do so immediately or I will start with you!”

Sun Blaze in horror ran from the cavern and called for the Palace Guard. He ordered them to collect all those within the Palace and bind their hands behind them. They were then forced marched with the guards pushing them into the sandstone cavern. The young Royals in the group were crying uncontrollably, they had never been treated so harshly!

Once all were collected, Gomer howled like a Banshee as did the dragon. She yelled: “Bring me the fool responsible for rounding up the humans for my feast!” Sun Blaze grabbed the Minister of Slaves and pushed him down in front of Gomer and her pet.

The Amphibian in Royal Robes struggled to get back on his feet. However, before he could escape Gomer sashed his face with her razor sharp nails blinding him. She then dug her fanged teeth into his back. With her enormous strength she flung the screaming victim into the air where the dragon grabbed him by his waist. He dug his teeth into him but did not end his suffering. He drank some of his blood but put him on the floor with an enormous paw on his mid section. He then crushed his arms and legs with his mouth, then tossed him to the side to suffer in agony and slowly die.

Gomer howled again in blood lust. “Bring me a child!” At that moment the dragon burst into a thousand pieces. Covering all there in a bloody shower of disembodied flesh. Next Gomer simply disappeared as did the injured Amphibian.

Harmony and Genesis now had Gomer restrained by a spherical force field. They were awaiting Mona’s orders on what to do with her. Genesis suggested immediate execution but knew Mona would not allow such an action without first some type of due process or redemption being offered.

TwilightPrison

The Minister of Slaves was ‘leaped’ to one of the MotherShips unconscious where Sam1 and Dr Dearborn would attempt to save his miserable hide. Brenda Dearborn was conflicted because the Minister was probably the most brutal butcher on the Planet. He was responsible for the torture, starvation and murder of millions of humans not to mention hundreds of thousands of Amphibians.

Lars2 and Darcy returned to the sandstone cavern. When they reappeared the scene was chaotic. Luna and Sun Blaze III were cleaning the dragon flesh and blood from their faces. The guards were cutting the ropes from the captives. The children were still hysterical.

DWParadise

Darcy stepped to the center of the room waved her hand and scenes of enormous sunflower fields in the Southern Alliance appeared as a 3D hologram in the air. There was abundant water and vibrant communities with Humans and Amphibians working side by side . . . market places overflowing with food, pottery and textiles. There were small communal places for gathering, worship and governance where inhabitants met periodically to worship, giving thanks and praying to the ‘Creator of All.’ She showed weddings and harvest fairs and celebrations.

Dragons and other beasts of burden were domesticated and used for transportation and pets. She then swept the hologram into the sky and showed the expanse of both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. The south just below the equator was green and lush with rivers and lakes becoming visible. The North in comparison was arid and brown with small collections of green around a few water sources where there was seasonal melting from the North Pole.

All in the cavern went deathly silent, even the terrified children. Lars2 then spoke.

Lars2 said: “We took what you rejected and turned it into a paradise. We respect all life, especially sentient life. We acknowledge ‘the Creator of All’ and the sunflower is our symbol. It represents Life springing forth from the ground . . . water created from dust.

You are welcome if you reject hate, injustice, and control. We are all brothers and sisters under God. We govern together . . . Amphibian and Human alike. Stop your violence and you will live and thrive. Continue your present course and your Hell will get worse. Gomer and her fellow Demons are neutralized and cannot help or harm you from this time forward.”

Lars2 continues:
“King Sun Blaze III and Lady Luna you must choose. Order your forces to cease their attack or we will defend ourselves by decimating your Armies. You have twenty-four hours to decide. Lars2 and Darcy disappeared.

Luna was furious. She told Sun Blaze to clear the cavern. She screamed: “I will not be dictated to by an old frog and a human urchin. They will pay for their insolence. Our Armies will continue the campaign.

Have the Palace Guards imprison all those who witnessed these events. They will be given a choice of silence or death. The children will be eliminated immediately. They cannot be trusted to remain quiet. Any Guard refusing to carry out my orders will be burned alive in front of me. Do you understand? Go now before things spiral out of our control.”

Sun Blaze left Luna to direct her orders. He however, knew things had to change. He secretly had the children removed and hidden in the slums of Dacron. He did get written blood oaths from all the adults at the event and presented them to the Queen.

The ShadowLand Operatives watching reported the dramatic events to the Sisters who will analyze and report to Mona when she and Harry return from the surface.

The Attack was beginning. Prometheus, Silver and Darcy were on the valley floor encouraging and supporting the New Hope defenders. Mona and Harry were disguised and by their side. The advanced shock troops of the Thug Army were already engaging the center of the defensive formations. The pike wielding troops were in front of the catapults and for the most part holding the assault.

Frenzied and drugged attackers were squeezing through and disrupting the center of the defenders. Some of the Demon controlled Dragons were now toppling some of the catapults.

The defenders were outnumbered and things were getting critical. More and more Thugs were dying but pressing the attack with more fanaticism than expected. Mona had assumed Gomer and the Demons had been neutralized; however, the attack’s success demonstrated otherwise.

Mona was too busy fighting off crazed Thugs to form a logical thought. This was not in the plan drawn up by the Sisters and the entire Federation Team. What was going wrong? Seems there were way more Thugs than expected. Not only that, they had no fear of death.

The Twilight team was observing and alerted Genesis and Harmony to engage the battle. The two had the most impressive telekinetic powers of any other crew members. They rushed to the area near Mona and Harry.

The two knew this had not been foreseen and they acted instinctively. They were knocking the Demon possessed Dragons out of the sky anytime they approached the catapults.

All the while, Darcy’s brother (Gregory) had been alerted and half of his Dragon Calvary was on its way from the North where he had been holding an additional Thug Army in check that had appeared out of nowhere.

Gregory was assisting Sybil fighting these surprise attackers to a stalemate. Unfortunately, It would take over a day for him to reach the western frontier and engage the enemy with an already weary and exhausted force.

Luckily, the fighting subsided as night approached and Mona had time to think. She and Harry had repeatedly saved Darcy, Prometheus and Silver from certain death. They had used some hidden technology that temporarily hid their friends from view without their knowledge.

A crisis was approaching, the LeviathanV Team was at the end of their decompression cycle. Within 24 hours they would compress and have to leave the surface for five days.

Prometheus and Silver were exhausted. Both wondering if they would survive another day of battle. Silver was glad her daughter Sybil was elsewhere not knowing she was also just as desperate.

Luna always the resourceful one, was pleased with the campaign. Though her losses were high, progress was being made. Her knowledge of the hidden and ancient art of mind control through psychedelic mushrooms was now paying magnificent dividends. Her consort (the King) was weak and sentimental but she would soon be rid of him as well.

Luna always hedged her bets. Gomer was a prime example. That old Demon thought she controlled her and her people. When Darcy, whatever she was, dispatched the old hag it was a chance to gain total control of Dragon World without interference. Though Darcy would be a problem, the child and Lars2 would be no match for her. Evil always finds a way to triumph.

The Sisters were in a panic. In all the centuries they had collected, investigated, and planned, how had they been so wrong? With all the surveillance resources they had; with cloaked drones, body bugs and ShadowLand Operatives . . . what had they missed?

They were not arrogant or complacent, yet the LeviathanV’s resources had come up lacking. Dragon World was in jeopardy of being lost to the dark forces in spite of all their efforts and planning.

Luna was a far more formidable enemy than they had realized. She held secrets they missed. Her evil intelligence was off the charts.

The Sister’s response was to double down and work harder. They would leave no stone unturned.

Luna had planned a long time for this day. She had always hated her husband because he was weak. She had secretly aligned herself with a dark magician named Turncliff. He had lusted for power and was more than happy to work for the evil, yet beautiful Queen.

Through Turncliff, Luna had cultivated enormous caverns full of a potent mushroom. This fungi was extremely toxic unless it was processed in a slow and complicated manner. While the toxic substance was being grown, processed and stockpiled over the last twenty years, Turncliff had appropriated probably one out of every five young Amphibians to work in forced labor camps.

From these poor beings he trained, indoctrinated, and drugged many of them into a fanatical fighting force. This force was then involuntarily induced into their survival hibernation stasis state and stored in the ice caverns in the polar regions of Dragon World.

The process was so well concealed the King, New Hope nor LeviathanV was aware this was happening. In fact, the Armies facing Sybil in the North were almost entirely these medicated fighters. They worked exclusively for the Queen, holding no allegiance to the King. Though fewer in number they were holding Sybil’s larger forces at bay, even with the help of Gregory and his Dragon Calvary.

The Sister’s appraisal was very troubling, their computer modeling indicated the expected outcome was in jeopardy. They had to bring more combatants to the battle. Mona, Harry, Genesis, and Harmony were nearing their compression limits.

Another concern was the wild dragons’ continued attack on the defenses. Since the Twilight influences were thought to have been neutralized, the Sisters concluded the Thug Army must have learned how to direct them without demonic control.

The call went out to the crew of LeviathanV and thousands volunteered. They would have to be clothed in the correct attire and armed appropriately. Luckily many were very capable in the use of the ancient weapons. Many were expert archers and swordsmen (both white and red plates) from the old Leviathan crew as well as from the Hidden Galaxy.

The trick was to get them to the surface without anyone being suspicious. Many knew they may never return. As was normal they volunteered anyway. Mona was awestruck by their dedication to the mission. She was never prouder. While she was reluctant to allow this sacrifice, she and Harry were likewise risking everything to save her friends and stop the evil on Dragon World. She decided she could not prevent others that understood the risks from likewise volunteering.

The Hidden Galaxy; Volume II of The life and death of Mona Ann Lisa on the Moon, 32,000 years in the making by George B. (All rights reserved published work (c) 2016 George B.)

Thanks to Lars2 and Darcy’s visit and presentation within her secret sandstone cavern, Luna now knew the Southern Hemisphere was the prize. After a few days of contemplation, her strategy was now forever altered. Because TurnCliff was such an important cog in her machinery, she called him to her military command post. Then and there . . . they concocted a brand new strategy.

She ordered her silly King to stand down the attack on New Hope. Her fanatical troops were recalled and placed back into stasis. The normal troops and the remaining controlled dragons disengaged and retreated.

Luna and TurnCliff took a tour to the Southern Hemisphere. The two were using capabilities never before seen. TurnCliff discovered sources of physical capabilities that must have laid dormant on Dragon World for eons. The two were able to temporarily modify their physiology . . . enabling them to fly as Amphibian/Mammal hybrids . . . half bat and half Amphibians.

The Sisters and the Federation had seen many strange and unusual things throughout the centuries; however, when they discover this . . . it will blow their minds.

Though it made him sick to contemplate the limited options, he knew Luna’s life was not worth the survival of two species.

While TurnCliff and the sick and sinister Queen were touring the Southern Hemisphere, the weak and stupid King (Sun Blaze) was very active. He sent trusted agents to seek a dialogue with the New Hope forces. He was also consolidating the frightened and angry subjects that had been intimidated into silence.

He had never agreed with his beautiful but corrupt wife. He now knew he had to stop her. She was about to destroy what was left of the Amphibian species as well as their once Human allies. He was committed now to her destruction.

Sun Blaze was greatly influenced by and adored a human slave. Abigail was a major influence in turning him from the dark control of the Queen. The two had no physical relationship but their communication was deep. Blaze chose her to negotiate with the New Hope Forces and she had just returned from a meeting with Silver, Sybil and Prometheus. Things were about to change.

bookcoverad

Thirty-two thousand years ago, a gifted child is born into a world most would consider paradise. There has not been a war or hunger for some eight thousand years. The ozone layer is four times thicker than it will be later. Genetic abnormalities are nearly nonexistent and there are no diseases. As she matures, Mona Ann Lisa—just one of a highly advanced civilization on Earth—prepares to fulfill her destiny.

Unbeknownst to Mona, a change in the political and military leadership has been ongoing for decades. Now something new is afoot. After she eventually becomes the youngest captain of the planet’s fleet of spaceships, her career blossoms as she faces challenges and threats to her civilization. Mona is the best chance the species has to survive. While she accepts her many working titles, Mona knows that Levie, her sentient artificial intelligence entity, is the true brains of the operations. As a chain of events unfolds, Mona, Levie, and others must jump into action as the health and well-being of all sentient life precariously hangs in the balance.

In this science fiction novel set thirty-two thousand years ago, a child prodigy transforms into the captain of a fleet of spaceships and embarks on a journey to save humanity.

Absolutely YES continue ... as long as you are turning out this caliber of product and are having fun doing it. We, your readers, would be deprived of a most brilliant imagination and story weaver, if you were to stop.
People like "Rust" are just that ....rust. Usually those snippy people are jealous ..!
You George B. could make other authors very envious .....

Congrats on the book George. Looks like a great read. Really like the video intro too. I think it would make a great movie. Or, a series.

I agree with the ladies. Please continue your story here!
