The Hidden Galaxy; Volume II of
The life and death of Mona Ann Lisa on the Moon, 32,000 years in the making by George B. (All rights reserved published work (c) 2016 George B.)

All the slavery practices had been eradicated within the Hidden Galaxy. The inhabited planets were all reclamation from the arid conditions once plaguing them. When LeviathanV was forcibly marooned here hope seemed a very very distant thing. Now hope, opportunity and peace were an everyday experience.

They had overcome impossible odds. They had triumphed in the face of certain annihilation. Yet, Mona was not at ease or at peace. She could not rest, she could not accept the rewards she had earned.

Mona’s restlessness was contagious. Harry was voicing the same feelings. Things were too quiet and comfortable. Boredom had set in. It was time the LeviathanV left the Hidden Galaxy to explore the universe on its own. Of course, those that wished to go along were welcome.

Being compressed made their proposed investigations all the more interesting. They would be all but invisible to everyone they would encounter in the standard size universe. They would have to temporarily decompress for the purpose of normal interaction. The Sisters had developed a modification to the flying diamond necklace for that purpose.

The maximum length of decompression was about five earth days in duration. After that a five day rest was necessary before re-decompression. Basically five days decompressed followed by five days of compression. This same rule applied to LeviathanV herself. The amount of energy consumed was enormous. They needed to be near a white hole for such energy consumption.

This excursion or mission was unprecedented. Never before had LeviathanV ventured forth just simply to explore. It was always on a mission to meet a threat or fix a problem. Mona was actually excited for the first time in decades.

The voluntary crew was comprised of the usual group from the Federation and included The Sisters, Dr Dearborn, Sam1, etc. but now included many red plates (Hidden Galaxy natives). Red plates intermingled with the white plates (Federation crew members). Chief among the red plates were Harry and Mona’s own grand children.

To Mona’s unending amazement, the crew even included several reanimated FogDemons. They had not only reanimated into their ancestral bipedal hominids status but had chosen to be compressed. This was a one way ticket. In all the years the Sisters, Sam1 and Dr Dearborn had found no process to permanently decompress any person or biological entity. The energy released in the compression was enormous and to this moment in history no one could replace it except for temporary, limited periods of time.

A large group of FogDemons had actually colonized some marginal solar systems within the Hidden Galaxy and had become part of the Galactic Ruling Council.

So now the new adventure is about to begin and the crew is as excited as Mona. MoonBeam and Levie always the investigators and planners had proposed a plan of exploration. They had worked with Harmony (Mona’s cloned sister who spent 32,000 years on the Moon the most traveled and experienced ShadowLand traveler) establishing a process.

The process was a pattern to systematically search for their lost family and crew members from which they were separated at the time of their compression several hundred years ago.

They determined the best place to start was in the Milky Way Galaxy, Earth, Ceres and the Sol Solar System. It would begin with a ShadowLand pre-visit and be followed by LeviathanV’s arrival. From there any clues would be used to venture to the next location based on evidence discovered, if there were any to be found.

On Earth it was approximately 30,700 years from our present timeline and around 1,300 years since the Great Global War. Mona and Crew had not returned to Earth in Mona’s present timeline since her epic battle with Chaos. Many of the important members in Mona’s life including Harry, Harmony and Dr. Dearborn were from her future but now surprisingly were her real-time reality.

All were unsure what they would find on Earth. It was hoped Lars2 and the Amphibians (if still present) were able to reclaim much of the ecology that was destroyed in the nuclear and volcanic winters that were result of the great war.

The first order of business was to send a ShadowLand investigation team to the Earth and especially to Shambhala. Mona was very apprehensive about the trip. Never-the-less, she was on the team that was in the quiet room preparing for the mission.

As the ShadowLand Team approached Earth, they separated into pairs and went to their pre-planned coordinates. The oceans and cloud cover appeared normal or at least what was expected.

It became very evident an extended Ice Age was at its beginning. There would be a lowering of the oceans by some 400 feet. Many land bridges would be forming. Large areas were devoid of significant life. It was going to be several more centuries before the surface was optimal for the Civilizations that once flourished on the planet.

Grasslands would dominate first. Grass eating herds would be the best fit for what was about to happen. It would seem the Guardianship would be about seeding the grasslands and cloning Mammoths and other grazing species. Mona had such a vision during the early years of Earth’s cataclysmic transformation so many years ago.

So what are our chances?

The life and death of Mona Lisa on the Moon ."The Alterwelt Chronicles". . 32,000 years in the making!!!!

Mona sighed deeply and says . . . So family Lisa what are our chances?

"Mona. Our analysis from the most advanced modeling facility of the known human experience indicates: If war cannot be avoided the expected human survival rate is between 1-5%. Meaning many species of animal and plant life will also become extinct. Without an increase of human fertility rates there is an 90% chance of human extinction. With a twelve fold increase in ovulation rates we reduce the chance of extinction by 30%. Not good odds but it may be all we get."

Mom, Dad, I fear our beautiful paradise of a world is going to be a thing of the past in a very short few years or months. Unless the Atlantis Alliance somehow returns to our traditional human values and behavior we are screwed!

"Looks that way dear. Dad and I have a request. We know if hostilities break out the Moon Research Center will be a primary target. Under no circumstances are you to risk your life or mission to come to our aid? Do you understand? Do you understand, Mona?"

Yes, but let's talk about that later . . . love you both deeply, I have to run and prepare for launch.

"Love you too! Signing off."

Suddenly, Mona is hit with a deep sickness in her stomach. Her head churns with despair. Then the familiar odor and flash of searing light! A vision appears on her mind . . .

The image is of canines herding mammoths that appear to be grazing animals. A hot air balloon is watching overhead with a sunburst decorating it. She cannot see what this has to do with anything now happening. It just seems to be an aggravation and irrelevant to the present situation.

Mona was more than cautious. Though only in Shadowland, this was her native Timeline. Any miss step or miscalculation could explode her delicate reality into millions of pieces she could never put back together. Her life now was terribly complicated, full of time paradoxes, a minefield impossible to navigate without risking the wrong step.

Her Husband (Harry) and his adopted children were from the future not this Timeline. Her own natural children were from a union between her Timeline and Harry’s. Her clone Sister (Harmony) was from the distant future as well, not to mention Dr. Dearborn her distant grand daughter. Right now Harmony was still in stasis in the downed Mother Ship on the far side of the Moon.

She and the Federation had interfered here (thousands of years into the future) on Earth during what would later be the sixth century and again in the twenty first century.

In Mona’s heart, she knew these incursions into the future had been ordained by some higher power than her and the Federation, so she was not disturbed by her previous actions.

However, this was different. She had not been summoned here out of necessity but out of curiosity.

The last place Mona intended to visit was the Command bunkers for the World Alliance and finally Shambhala. It was apparent from what she was observing, the few humans on the surface were scattered bands of hunter gathers. Some were herding Mammoths and bison. They were struggling with the apex predators that had made a comeback from near extinction.

Seems to her what remained of the World Alliance was not being terribly involved with surface events either through policy or lack of ability. She wondered if it were her decision on how to recover the world what she would do or have done. She was sure the Guardianship in Shambhala had experienced this before and had strict policies on what to do and not do.

Mona’s curiosity was intensifying.

Overall progress on the ecological side was encouraging. Where Mona was concerned was the lack of human surface progress. She felt driven to find out why things were in the state she was observing.

First, however, she wanted to gather the teams and return to LeviathanV to crosstalk with the investigation committee headed by no other than Moonbeam.

MoonBeam was already anticipating Mona’s desires. After working over the many centuries with her Sister she could almost read her mind.

It is obvious from the number of children and lack of old persons in these groups the genetically modified women are ovulating at a much higher rate.

MoonBeam started the meeting which what was known: “the ShadowLand Teams intentionally surveyed the surface conditions but avoided the World Alliance and Guardianship facilities. It is apparent there is little evidence of technological interference beyond the Mammoth and Bison herds and a few other trinkets. The existence of a few hot air balloons and some gun powder and long rifles. We suspect these are concessions to help control apex predators. The human surface populations are simply a few bands of nomadic herders. There are no trading centers, networks or governments of any kind.

Where the tiny amount of technology used is from we have no real evidence, just assumptions. Levie and I recommend further missions to include the Guardianship and World Alliance. We recommend the World Alliance facilities first. We are perplexed at the situation but caution we must not interfere unless new information is discovered that radically alters what we know.”

Levie continues: “It is obvious from the number of children and lack of old persons in these groups the genetically modified women are ovulating at a much higher rate. Also, the life span of these surface dwellers appears much shorter than we would have expected.”

Levie continues: “we know Silver, Prometheus and Sybil returned to Earth around 600 years ago or 400 plus years after the Global War. Lars2 was still engaged in terraforming and cleaning up the world’s ecosystem at that time.

We lost all communication and contact when we were compressed into the Hidden Galaxy. Our priorities were simply survival. Simultaneously, we lost all communication with the Greater Galactic Federation (GGF). We do not know if the Guardianship and the GGF are even in contact with each other. As you know Ceres was abandoned and most went to New Ceres. We have confirmed the Wormhole Galactic Transit System is not functioning to our knowledge in this sector of the Milky Way. It appears Earth is isolated presently.”

Possibly, much of history is cyclical. There are few new stories, there are just new manifestations of human endeavors. I tried to be as original as possible, but fiction to be credible must follow some familiar origins.

My story is really free flowing. I write as I go. Many times I don’t know from day to day what is next!

We suggest the use of Time's Pivotal Events (TPE).

Levie continues: “MoonBeam and I, after significant discussions with Sam1 and Dr Dearborn suggest the use of a tool we have used before. We suggest the use of Time's Pivotal Events (TPE).

Foundational Truth's Identified by TPEs:

1. DNA of any surviving sentient being has genetic memory of their ancestors embedded within their chromosomes. It is a binary code and can be accessed and replayed as a visual and sensory set of data.
2. The DNA code does contains the individual's emotional impressions making the data somewhat unreliable. The data is also subject to damage and mutations but is felt to be at least 98% accurate especially when validated by multiple observers with different cultural perspectives viewing the same events.
3. This history is massive and requires careful decoding and analysis beyond most Artificial Intelligence's ability.
4. Despite all the draw backs, the study of this history is felt useful in identifying known and unknown TPEs.

Simply stated, newer algorithms we (the Sisters), Sam1 and Dr Dearborn validated have greatly improved the methodology to identify and study TPEs.

The TPEs are represented on the DNA binary code as clusters of emotionally complex signals or lumps of code that looked much like the ingested prey that was swallowed by a long snake. Important TPEs appear as larger clusters followed by several, spaced smaller clusters which probably represented a remembrance or anniversary of the original event.

Each time such a pattern is found the code can be decoded and analyzed. The bigger the code node is and the greater the number of subsequent following equal distance nodes, the greater the likelihood it is significant.”

An unexpected discovery and shock occurred after full analysis of the evidence from this ShadowLand visit was completed. During the mission MoonBeam obtained some human DNA by Quantum Jumping minute hair samples. Her desire was to do some preliminary TPE analysis. In the process this Earth DNA revealed unexpected revelations when it was compared to compressed DNA from humans on LeviathanV. The mutation rates of compressed living tissue versus standard tissue from Earth was astounding. Mutations had all but ceased on compressed tissue and dramatically accelerated on these surface dwellers.

The conclusion was undeniable, though never realized or considered before. Compression confers near immortality. Mona and crew expected life spans are now calculated into the tens of thousands . . . not just the 800 to 1300 years the pre-global war people experienced. The present surface dwelling humans are expected to live only a few hundreds of years and this span is calculated to get shorter and shorter as the ozone layer depletes further. Eventually the human life span could crash to less than one hundred years. Especially so when one calculates in the lack of technology and basic medical knowledge.

Mona was stunned. What are the implications of this information? While this longevity is yet unexperienced, the science behind the discovery is undeniable. While she could live for tens of thousands of years beyond her wildest dreams, these surface dwelling humans will soon succumb while barely children in comparison.

The reality is beyond comprehension. She has no way to relate to these findings. Somehow she feels a need to react in some rational way.

MoonBeam states: “It seems with the data now analyzed form the initial ShadowLand visit the following findings are reasonably inferred.
1. The direct interference from Shambhala and the Federation on the surface dwellers is not provable.
2. These humans on the surface are genetically linked to those who were on the surface at the time of the Global War that occurred well over 1,000 years ago.
3. The survival of the human race is still not assured.
4. Lars2 and his fellow Amphibians are no longer detected to be on the Earth.
5. We find no direct evidence that these surface dwellers are relying on communication, training or manufactured goods with a more advanced technological society or group.
6. We may assume our presence here has some meaning.”

Based on the findings Mona knew they had to bring LeviathanV to the Sol System and conduct an extensive investigation. It would take another few weeks to get there; however, ShadowLand missions could continue. Though very reluctant Mona knew it was time to observe the World Alliance and Guardianship facilities and personnel.

Since she had way too much emotional attachment to those to be surveilled, she sent teams that had no direct connection to the Earth. Several missions were launched simultaneously. There would be additional DNA sampling as well.

yo wtf is up with this story? I've seen 'pictures' of the 'mona lisa on moon' but what is all this background story from?

Fan fiction, right?
