Plenty of classes throughout life and I'm good at it. I did local theatre years ago as a kid. I suppose an agent is the first step, correct? I wonder how to find one that could actually do something instead of trying to sell something.

So sorry bout that... you could have had a quality life but atleast you will be able to get multiple prescriptions out of the deal.

This is not a joke but if you want to hit the bigtime be prepared to be an escort and then if you hit a certain level, get cloned.

Already overcame that obstacle. No prescriptions needed or desired.

I, personally, know many actresses -- and actors -- in their late 30's who are working steadily in Hollywood, right now. They're not "celebrities", per se, but they are able to earn a stable living in the field of acting...and they don't actually want to be "famous", anyhow.

Don't listen to the naysayers, OP; 37 is not "old", and, even though the entertainment industry can be quite harsh and difficult, at times, it's important (beyond words) to pursue your heart's dreams and ambitions.

Also, it's a good idea to try for roles in independent films and projects (such as web series and such), first, as that's an excellent way to acquire credits and positive career attention without having an agent, right off the bat.

If you haven't made it by 29, your toast. Unless you have a huge talent, your going nowhere. You'll blow a lot of men upon promises and still end up a waitress.

Grateful for your knowledge, thank you for any help with direction. I've always wanted passionately to do this. Now I have to dig in and get things in order for it to manifest. Hope this makes sense.
