8wheeled armored personel carriers 10 deep on the nys thruway!!!!
Just saw them about an hour ago driving on the thruway. Not on trailers. Ive never seen that before. They were haulin ass too going 60 to 70 mph keeping up with traffic. Anyone know if thats strange or SOP?

Was it military or police? Our highway patrol/state police use them as SWAT vehicles for raids or hostage situations. Yes, it is SOP for them to haul ass to wherever they are going so not to allow the people they are busting to hear about them coming.

I've seen these little convoys of six to nine units the last few days. I'm a truck driver in upstate ny. Probably nothing, the weather is nice so they move stuff around and look busy.
