Getting American companies to move away was not his wife's job... And Gingrich has been a part of important policy matters for a long time in a very divided house. Trump needs someone (and it doesn't nessesarily have to be Gingrich) to transmit his energy and ideas to what will be (in the near future) a very jated and hurt left side of the isle. It just so happens that Gingrich is very adept at that. He's a grey area of a good politician and a real person who has always really just been laid back and tells it like it is. In this respect he would be a good fit with Trump. Trump needs a politician who knows their way around Washington unfortunately. Let's be real, he may be an outsider, but when he gets into the White House, he will be surrounded by insiders.

This isn't about money or staying relevant as others have suggested this is all about 9/11.

Trump has maintained his position that Obama's birth certificate is questionable. Sticking by his opinion over such a long period of time including a successful bid for the Republican nomination leaves no doubt he is interested in the truth.

Throw in his patriotism and the traitors who allowed 9/11 to happen are very concerned.

If case you haven't noticed there have been quite a few timely events and leaks that have helped Trump over the past year. These are coming from his allies inside the Pentagon and alphabet agencies. Trump has supporters inside the government who want the truth to come out.

Edward Snowden isn't the only whistleblower from the CIA in recent years. There have been quite a few although they didn't do near the damage Snowden did.

My point being we are witnessing a covert struggle between these two forces right now.
