This happened with a guy tonight at my store!

He tried the chase card with the emv chip and it declined three times.

Fucked up thing is he ran straight to the chase ATM and came back saying it wouldn't let him take out his money.

Fuck.

I keep all my money in cash thank god but I did just put money in the bank to buy a catalytic converter online. Hope I can still spend it.

My credit score hovers around 800 and I have the best credit cards on the market, but when I applied for the Chase Freedom card about six weeks ago, I couldn't get a straight answer out of the local bank manager about interest rates. I applied anyway and a couple weeks later received my new card - with an interest rate of 23.25% ! It gets weirder. That same day in the mail, I get a Chase Freedom Card offer from Chase, with a hard offer (not an interest rate spread) of 14.5% interest. I took that to the bank manager and asked WTH is going on. His only response was "if you pay the card off every month, what does it matter?"

Furthermore, their VA home specialist didn't know anything about the VA Certificate Of Eligibility to buy a home, and we all should know here by now, from the Feds and Chase itself - that at the first sign of smoke on the horizon, they're grabbing the hose and water and you're left to burn.

Ok this is a little weird.

Never had a problem signing into my Ally bank acct. it's an online-only bank.

Repeatedly freezing right now, can't log on.

Then if I hit the reload button, it gives a try again prompt, and then a "Cannot process your request at this time" error
