It's not really a dangerous doctrine since no normal people believe in it. It's only dangerous to those who are already deluded anyway

It can become and IS a stumbling block to some who lack the ability to discern biblical and scriptural truth from philosophy and conjecture. I disagree too, those who choose to believe in rapture do so based on a personal choice since it's not in the Bible. And you can't reason someone who choses to believe in something without anything to back it up. You are literally trying to reason deluded people who set themselves on a path to destruction. It's their own choice. Good luck with that I have a niece who has been looking into the Rapture. I had to set her down and explain why it is not biblical. I think she saw reason and accepted the scripture she was shown which supports this fact. There are others who can benefit from learning the truth too. That is why I chose to present it here. In the end, you are correct. It is a choice to seek the truth or to believe the lies.
