I've always felt the same way about the "rapture," teachings OP.
Not only is it not biblical but there's a humility involved that keeps a person from ever thinking that he or she is better than anyone because conviction shows us just how flawed we ourselves are.
Like Isaiah said:
Isaiah 6:5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
Nothing is hidden from God, and when we are in His presence our hearts are exposed.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71503346 Nicely said. There is much parallel scripture that fits with that as well. It is good to know there are others who have not been drawn into the false rapture doctrine which is incompatible with the teaching of Jesus and an enmity to God.
