Speaking of middle men.... and not to disappoint in your above statement.....  I have supplied a link for those who might have more questions. That doesn't mean that I am unwilling to field them, just that there are more sources which validate Christs own word on the matter where others too have done the footwork to dispel the Rapture myth. The truth is always there for those who choose to find it and my assertions in this thread and scripture to back it up are simply a continuation of work others have already done to clarify and present the TRUTH. "Don't add to or take away from this book". First that told me the Mormons were WRONG! I knew that the rapture theory wasn't even a thing back then, so I was instantly alarmed by it when I heard it. A lot of prayer, research and studying it ALL over again made it very clear. Praying for discernment is what made the scriptures make so much more sense. I knew it was ADDED so it didn't take too long to realize that this WAS and IS the "false doctrine of the end times. God Bless You both. As I have shown through scripture, a Rapture is a false hope in something that we are ALREADY assured of as long as you are being led by the SPIRIT. The only people who would endorse a Rapture view are those who fail to see this, because they are being led by the FLESH. Once an individual sees this truth, they are then able to see why belief in a Rapture leads to destruction. He will take them as the flood took people during Noah's time and slaughtered them. The old and new testaments lay all that out as plain as day. And the rapture isn't the second coming of Christ........He doesn't come back here until the end........after the judgement and the bowls of wrath have been poured out. That's when He comes back. The rapture isn't that. The rapture is the catching away of the bride before the wrath is poured out. I believe it's at the midway point of the final 7 years. The bride is taken away.....we meet the Lord in the air. He doesn't come down here for that, we go up there. He doesn't come here until the end. To say such only adds confusion, because if you support it being a Rapture, you add validation to others claiming the pre and mid tribulation Rapture. That is their champion term to endorse something that the bible quite clearly shows will NOT occur. Using that term only adds confusion and is one of the things that draw people down a path of destruction. Christ is coming back and we will go out to welcome Him. He isn't coming back to only come halfway. We will meet Him. He is coming to us! We are His Saints and His welcoming committee. An example of this would be if you were going to the supermarket to buy food. You don't get to the store, walk up to the door and then turn around and leave again. NO. You go in and do what you came there to do. So too will Christ on His return. He isn't only coming halfway and then turning back. We will be like the people at Walmart. You know, the GREETERS YOU MEET WHEN YOU WALK IN THE DOOR? Are you aware that when Jesus was resurrected the tombs were open and those Saints were resurrected alongside him and walked among the people too? These are the first fruits that arose with Jesus at that time and they sit in judgment. As for the scripture that show those being raised up, they are dead. They will be raised out of the grave. Those who are alive will be transformed too at that time, but don't need to be raised up, because they are alive when Christ returns. They will simply die to the flesh and take on the whole spirit and armor of God. Then they will go and greet Christ out in the open as He DESCENDS. Yes, there is a rapture. And the rapture isn't the second coming of Christ........He doesn't come back here until the end........after the judgement and the bowls of wrath have been poured out. That's when He comes back. The rapture isn't that. The rapture is the catching away of the bride before the wrath is poured out. I believe it's at the midway point of the final 7 years. The bride is taken away.....we meet the Lord in the air. He doesn't come down here for that, we go up there. He doesn't come here until the end. This is what the bible says, this is the truth even if you don't believe it. It's ok if you don't believe it, but it is the truth. I've studied so long, so hard, and for so many years. God bless you........I refuse to debate or argue this point with anyone. It is what it is.....and believing it or not is not a salvation issue anyway. You are entitled to your belief. I will say this. You claim it isn't a salvation issue. I posit that you are wrong! This Rapture Theory quite possibly if not IS, the great deception we are warned to NOT believe. 24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25Behold, I have told you before. If it offends you then you should be open to testing the spirit from whence it comes, especially since it is brought to you through scripture of Christ's own words.
