Get 1 pound bag of nettles..make your own tea with a tea ball or empty teabags....I get mine from amazon...use LOCAL honey...It will ease your allergies and the Local honey...don't get it too hot and take some in a teaspoon a couple times a day will help you build a a tolerance for the local allergens.

Anyone else having horrid allergy season? Im in North Alabama and for past two weeks have been in misery with it. Ive tried both over the counter and prescriptions medicine. Ive seen others having misery too. Headache. Sneezing about 30 times a day. Eyes swollen and blood red. Cheeks are puffy with red rash. Nose pouring out clear liquid. Sore throat and coughing up watery junk. This is like no season I've ever experienced in my nearly 50 years. I've had to miss several days of work because the water coming out of my nose and eyes.

Same here in upper East Tennessee
My wife had it 1st but it soon hit me also
We went to the doctor who said he had Ben flooded with people all with the Sam symptoms. He advised us to take some OTC allergy medication along with extra to an C
His official diagnosis was. "You have THE CRUD".
On a related note the pollen that accumulates on my car over night has been crazy this year. My teacher car almost looks yellow after sitting 2 nights. When I put the water hose to it I swear it looks like mud.

I'm not but one of my dogs is in the worst way EVER! She's the older one at 10, and my gosh she has been itching and scratching like crazy!!

I know it isn't fleas because there isn't a single flea on her when I drag the flea comb thru her coat and the other small dog and cats have no fleas either plus I use Knockout ES twice a year ( spring & fall) and they are all on flea, tick and heartworm medication.

Poor thing, I've given her Loratidine 10mg. , Benadryl ( which does not help and gives her diarrhea ), I've sprayed her with organic apple cider vinegar ( Braggs) AND rubbed her down with Organic Unrefined, Virgin Coconut oil which he helped her the best but not completely.
My parents dog is suffering the same thing and these dogs have never done this before until this year!!! I don't really want to take her in for shots but may have too, I'm getting ready to order her some Dinovite to see if that will help along with the liquid they recommend. If anyone has any other recommendations, PLEASE LIST THEM...THIS GIRL IS MISERABLE!

I NEVER have allergies and yet for the past 2 weeks I can't keep my lungs clear. I've been hacking shit non stop. No fever. No weakness. Just tons of crap from my lungs. Nothing provides much relief. WTH?

PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL with your asthma!! We lost my 26 yr old cousin and the 6 mo old baby girl she was carrying , Gabriella, a month after Tracy released her first CD. She sat up in bed in the middle of the night and took her last breath, and died due to an asthma attack. Her husband did perform cpr but it was too late.

Please, make sure you do not let ANY abnormal signs go without seeing your Dr.

Re: Anyone else having the horrid allergy attack?
Try some vitamin D3, it helps a lot more than you think, I have been sick 3 times in 4 years and for short times because I take 1 5000 IU of vitamin D3 daily.
People are sick and getting worse because they are dehydrated and they don't get enough vitamin D, stay away from the things that dehydrate you like coffee, tea, soda and alcohol. Our bodies need water and we drink most everything but water.
In the summer you should get about 15-20 minutes of sunlight a day, the best source of vitamin D.
Since I have been doing the D-3 and just water. My arthritis is gone and I feel better. Oh yeah vitamin B12 shot every few months really helps also.

Re: Anyone else having the horrid allergy attack?
YES! last year had swollen, red, itchy eyes and a rash on face and neck lasting for 4 months.

this year i got a rash on my face and neck in February, and I still have it. Went to dermatologist. He prescribed Fluticasone cream for face and neck.

I used the cream along with washing face at night, only once per day, with only Dove unscented soap. Mostly gone but now on my neck the red bumps are reappearing, seams like they reappeared after i washed my neck. I think it's the water.

If i don't wash it seams to look much clearer.
If I splash water on my neck they seam to come back.

They itch so i have been taking benadryl.

I'm at a loss. no moisturizers, no makeup for 4 weeks still rash!

Re: Anyone else having the horrid allergy attack?
its getting worse because more and more people have accumulated a lot of heavy metals in their body. To get rid of allergy is a process that might take you some years but it is possible. One must start with cleaning of organs such as kiddney and liver. Change of eating habits is another aspect. But both food and cleansing will do the job. If you start now you'll get over it in some years. Its a slow process unfortunately there's no one time remedy.

The books of Andreas Moritz is the best way to start.

Same here! All those that I know that do deal with allergies are having an exceptionally bad time this year. The ENT's are saying it's the worst they have seen.

I went to the eye doctor yesterday thinking I must have an eye infection. Itchy and watery and getting worse over the past 2-3 weeks. She told me it's allergies. I have always been thankful I don't get allergies because I see what people go through. Now it's seems I do. At first I told her she must be mistaken!

I don't have sneezing or nasal trouble, I hope it stays that way. Just eyes that water all day and itch off and on.

Something has changed.

Re: Anyone else having the horrid allergy attack?
Take Vitamin C and quercetin daily. It's best if you start before allergy season begins.

I'm not having any problems with this regimen, but I have to remember to take them daily or else I might start having problems.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1478493

That's what I take too for my allergies. My allegies used to be nearly debilitating, but now that I take Quercetin, they are just minor congestion. Quercetin is a type of vitamin that acts as a natural antihistamine. It also boost energy, reduces inflammation and scavenges free radicals (as an antioxidant) thus helping to prevent cancer. Google it. All the other allergy medications left me feeling high and sleepy. They were almost worst than the allergy. Not Quercetin, it has not adverse side effects that I'm aware of. It does help to start on it before allergies become a problem, but it still works if taken even after allergy symptoms are noticed. It just may take a little while (a day or two) to build up the Quercetin levels in your body.

I buy my Quercetin online from Vitacost, but most health food stores will stock it. I take a total of 1000 mg to 2000 mg spread throughout the day, depending on the severity of my allergies. I always buy the Quercetin blended with the enzyme Bromelain, which aids adsorption. I also take 1000 mg of vitamin C each day too; more if fighting a bug. I've told a number of friends about Quercetin and they now take it regularly too with noticeable allergy relief.

Oh, I also give it to my dog and its helps her with her allergies. I can tell that it helps her to relieve her itching from skin allergies and her nose isn't as runny.

My 10 year old son suffered from really bad allergies/asthma until we tried local honey and vitamin c w/rose hips. It took a few months but now everyone in the house is completely allergy free.
Must be local, unprocessed honey. We pay 25.00 a quart but its worth every penny.

I don't know how much she weighs but you can add coconut oil to her food. My dogs love it and will eat it right off the spoon like a treat. It really has helped my dogs' allergies when nothing else would. I have a whole basket full of shampoos and sprays and things that I've purchased over the years trying to find a miracle and the coconut oil is the only thing that helps.

I think it is one teaspoon per ten pounds of weight but if she's a big girl, don't give her that much to start, just a big dollop or she might get a little diarrhea at first.

Most of my allergies were cured by local honey. I eat a spoonful a day, and it seriously has helped me. I was supposed to be on allergy shots when I was a kid because I was so allergic to everything. I still get mild flare ups, but it's not like anything I have had before. It gets bad when I travel outside of my area, but I have no system immunity to other things besides local.

honey and increased nutrition is a solution

part of major issue with all these people getting allergies today is because of lack of nutrition and a screwed up detox system as well as cross reactivity to mold (inside and outside), gluten, gmo, pesticides , etc

auto immune/histamine reactions are not improved by having all these other issues layers on top of you

I normally get pretty bad allergies in the Spring/early summer, unless I am taking a Bee Pollen supplement.

This year I have no allergy symptoms. It is wonderful.

Raw, organic honey (ideally local to your area) is hugely beneficial, on the allergy front and other health areas, as well as a good D3 supplement.

Best of luck to you. I use this one, under $15 on Amazon:

I've been suffering for a few weeks now, sneezing, sniffling, itchy eyes, constant low grade sore throat.

Gargling salt water, neti-pot, and staying inside with the AC on seems to help. The second I go outside I start struggling!
