Haha! Let's hope not. When she goes, I fear big doom (beyond just volcanoes) on the west coast.

Ahh, peaceful country living at it's best! Have not been back to the area for many years,so can't say what it is like now. Um, yeah, it's peaceful country living like Alamogordo was peaceful desert living until, you know, the thing happened. Yeah. Times change. The mountain didn't do as much as people did to change things. It was also about that time that the Columbia Gorge became the wind surfing capital of the world. The influx of yuppie types changed the small town idyllic atmosphere as they began snapping up land in the area. There was a major social transformation taking place in the region at the time I moved. That is what I was referring to.
