I was with you until you mentioned stevia.

Give it a try sometime:
Lemon grass tea;
Slice pineapples and blend them with one or two leaves of mint;
Mix both things: the hot tea and the pineaple juice, leach it if want;
Let it sit for a while and get the liquid part and ice it;

You can drink it as it is, or bake some very tasty cakes with it.

is this what glp has been reduced to? Looking more and more like fuckbook everyday. :(

Stevia is a natural / herbal sweetener I believe. I swore off the other artificial sweeteners such as Aspartame and Sucralose.

Gosh I was just having fun posting about something pleasant. Iced tea is nice especially on a warm day.

Yes we have a little planter to grow herbs in. Its wonderful when they are fresh. The problem is keeping the critters out of it. I made a little wire mesh cover for it.

After many years of brewing tea, I now fill a gallon jar with filtered water, 1/4 cup sugar and 3 (qt size) Red Diamond tea bags, cap it, shake it and put it in the frig overnight. Tastes great, and it's sooo much easier.

It's a lot easier and I think it tastes great. It saves a lot of energy. I just use regular tea bags, not special "cold" brew bags. Of course, I drink a lot of tea, all day long.

Get some red diamond, or Luzianna and throw ya bout 7-8 bags in a pot of water..Bring to a boil.. Take a gallon jug, feel with ice, pour in tea, feel up rest of jug, water,, 2 cups of sugar, stir it up..Now get a glass , pack with ice, now pour the tea in..Slice of lemon if you got it!!..Either way, welcome to the South's 200 year old sweet ice tea paradise,, we drank it daily!!

That sounds good, I'm going to try it. We have a lot of Farmer Brothers tea here so I will use some of that. Gotta use it up. I do like Luzianne, its tasty.

That sounds great! I make my own all the time. Over the years I've learnd to throw in ginger tea, lemon tea, herbs from my garden etc. and a bit of local honey. It's so much fun to make your own, cheap too.

I've even added saffron.

Can't believe people buy diluted Snapple for two bucks when we can have a gallon of it for free in our fridge.
