Same here! I might have even had a crush on her! lol

Being Sepsis is very scary one doesn't know they are even sick with it.. very lethal illness more people die from being septic than cancer each year. I am so very sorry to hear she succumbed to the illness. I had it over a year ago spent weeks recovering even had to have one of my new knees replaced a 2nd time as the infection went to my lungs and that one knee.

RIP dear lady you were a real treasure to so many of us who grew up with you. Being 69 myself I feel especially sorrowful for her illness and her loss.

The Patty Duke Show was one of those more or less wholesome shows that you never see anymore. If you want to take the pulse of this world we live in, compare old shows like that with the rubbish we get now. Real eye-opener.

Lol, sepsis? I haven't seen day she at since I worked at one of the poor outlying hospitals. I worked at a county hospital and figured out sepsis was more inflammatory. Control the inflammation, use some antibiotics, boom, no sepsis. I was able to wean off septic pts off dopamine, levo, and vases sin in a 12 yr shift once I out them in a cooling boanket in most cases. That was back then, when I had more energy and gave a damn. Now I use hit them with Tylenol and call it a day cuz it's not worth it to me
