Do some research (and by research I don't mean watch the DaVinci Code) and you'll find that the gospels and epistles (letters written by apostles) that are included in the bible were written within the lifetime of those who were eyewitnesses or directly knew the eyewitnesses within the first century of the church (except for Hebrews...that author is not identified...I can't explain that one). The gospel of Thomas is some gnostic gnonsense that was written in the century after the events. You can start your research here if you want: [ link to y-jesus.com] Or...just keep on believing whatever it is you want to believe and let God sort that out with you. Quoting: B@Z What about the old testament? These books for the most part are Sumerian tablets re-written. I do not believe any organized religion. Quoting: Pyax How far did you get with the link? Clicked and read first page or less? Quoting: B@Z I read the whole page, I only saw one page...was there more? Although I didnt watch the video at the bottom of page. Just cuz I posted the link it doesnt mean I agree with everything. I was sharing it for others that might be interested in it. I believe that Jesus was written about in the dead sea scrolls though. Quoting: Pyax Click next at the bottom of the page. I'm not sure why they break up the pages that way (for load speed I supposed) but I would prefer to just see the whole thing all at once. Sounds like you are hungry for truth, and you are actively and critically thinking. That is good...don't stop. I want you to know the truth, because the truth will set you free.
