The Bible is the very worst source there is to try and learn about Jesus through. Thomas is the truest gospel of Jesus there is. Jesus was an Essene and Jesus was not at all what Peter and Paul taught. The entire church and movement of the Bible around the globe is contrary to Jesus and his clear example. All words are trumped by that example. No nation that fights is a nation following Jesus. No religion that fights is following Jesus. No set of laws that condone killing for any reason is a set of laws from people following Jesus. Jesus example is contrary to the OT, NT, Jews, Romans and all nations today. Not one stone of the fallen churches will remain upon another. For they have become like the Jews and either love the tree and hate the fruit or love the fruit and hate the tree. They do not follow Jesus, they follower Peter and Paul. Follow them straight into the pit. Blind men following blind men is all the church has ever been.
