Eggs are sign of new life, as is spring. That's why we have Easter Eggs. Eggs have been given as gifts and a symbol of spring forever. The Easter Bunny thing came later, when a bunch of kids saw a rabbit run away from a nest filled with decorated Easter Eggs. Happy Easter to you all and we are all one under the sun, and moon, and stars. Easter used to be Eostre, a lunar ritual observed long before Christianity.
