I don't think keeping them out is likely in our current mode of "politically correct" culture and therein lies the rub, as they say. Sure, we want to be accepting of other races, colours, and creeds and, to some extent, I agree...but where do you draw the line? I know I'm not flying anywhere until the plane can fly itself. From what I hear, planes made these days can almost do that now!!

Example of low pay high responsibility airport job. 10 bucks an hour! Who do they expect to get? You could barely keep a car going and eat for $10 an hour!

Great post! You're 100% correct. I worked for United Airlines, and even though the FAA had us jumping through hoops for several years before 9/11....we/they didn't see it coming. Airlines and the FAA knew something was up through intelligence. It was years in the planning.....but they didn't know how or when it would happen.

That day, September 11th, as I was sitting home watching it unfold on TV, I thought....holy crap..that was so easy for them!

Lots of horrible mistakes. Once I talked with pilots who knew exactly how it happened....I really understood how easy it was, and how stupid the USA was. Politically correct. So trusting of foreigners.

Most plane maintenance is done out of the country anyway. Everything we had at one time is given to the other countries.
