Scrump's Pre-Election thread for Tuesday, March 22, 2016
I really didn't want to do this after this horrible Belgian tragedy.

I woke at 3:30 AM to get a drink of water and turned on this madness and have gotten little sleep. I'm happy today is my day off work.

I was not even going to attend Scrump's thread tonight since I have believed Trump will lose Utah and Arizona to Cruz.

But this incident might actually affect Trump's outcome to his favor.

I am doing some volunteer work at area churches today and will only be able to attend this thread, periodically.

Incidentally, Tuesday of this Holy Week is traditionally known as the Day of Conflict. Ironic, huh?

Is there someone who can kind of oversee this thread until Scrump's goes up, normally around 1 PM?

I want to acknowledge an extremely generous act of a fellow GLP'er, Comedian.

Last night I came home tired and kind of discouraged only to find a parcel which had been left on my doorstep by the Post Office.

My laptop crashed about 3 weeks ago and this kind man, knowing there is no way I can replace it, sent me one of his spares. I will also be setting up that laptop in my spare time today (browsers, updates, etc) so that I can return this one to my neighbor.

Thank you to all of GLP. You guys are the best group of people ever.

Now, with this world falling apart at the seams, we need Trump more than ever.

He can fix the senseless murders by a group devoted to killing us.

Like the idea or not, walls keep enemies OUT.

Come on, Arizona. Do the right thing.

I don't have faith in Utah but if we win this state it's a Yuuuuuuuge win!

Love to you all,

Miggy

hugs

I think hell has just frozen over. I put on the cackling liberal hens of The View this morning (to see what they had to say about Brussels and Trump), and all 3 women on the panel agreed with Trump. The only hold out was Joy Behar. However, all 4 of them, including Behar, pointed out that Trump called it (Brussels attacks) back in January.
I had to pick my mouth up from the floor.

Listen, you have NO idea how this guy saved me.
Almost two years ago I came home from work one Friday night to find that a robber had stolen everything left that I owned of value.

This included TV's, stereos, cameras, cell phone, cash (screw preps- I'm not keeping cash in my house any longer)... even my vacuum cleaner!

I had an income tax refund of $175 last year and used it to buy a used laptop at a local pawn shop since that's all I could afford.

It finally crashed to bits about 3 weeks ago and now that I make minimum wage at a part-time job there's no way I could have ever afforded even a used, pawn-shop item.

So I am sincerely grateful. I just need to figure out how to set it up so I don't SCREW it up. Lol

I don't know. Maybe the same reason he lost Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas.

I went to Oklahoma University with some very fine, conservative people who now live in Phoenix and they can't stand Trump.

Maybe Belgian will change their mind. I sure hope so.

Yes, and they were squirmy and apologetic about it, but basically agreed (except for Joy) that Trump's response to attacks in Brussels was "rational" and sounded "presidential". The one guest panelist even stating that she didn't feel Hillary's statement wasn't as strong as Trumps. And all of them agreeing, giving Trump credit, that he even stated in an interview in January that things did not look good in Brussels and would be next (for terror attack).

Apparently 3 Utah missionaries were injured in the Brussels attacks.
[link to nypost.com]

Why again would the people of Utah pick a weak guy (Cruz) over a strong defender of security (Trump)? Trump would kick so much terrorists down! That is what we need, a take charge leader.

For all the mormons in Utah who are hearing the news about the missionaries who were hurt, they need to wise up today and vote Trump.

Trump has 680 delegates.
