The problem is the interpretation of the law changes based on the current administration and not when it was originally written. When I was a kid, we used to tease the missionary kids at school that they would never be able to be president since they were born outside the U.S. They all had parents born here, but even at a young age we 'knew' that the law at the time would prevent them from becoming president. Now it seems that interpretation is all but forgotten. |

Fasting with sincere prayer and for a purpose. Kids generally start doing this in their teen years. Over the years you fast in secret for friends neighbors, the country your marriage, people with friends that pass away, your friends kids who have struggles ect.. It strengthens your prayers, being hungry once in awhile keeps things REAL and brings about an appreciation for the poor who go hungry. You are encourage to give the dollar amount of the food you would have eaten to the welfare of those who do not have food in your ward. Fasting is generally private but FAST Sunday meeting with your congregation is an open opportunity to bear your testimony. It is open for anyone to share their feelings and scriptural testimony. Okay now I watched the video. That young teenager choose to fast on his own. Why would that offend someone?? Why would that concern you? Its a sincere young man that loves his country. Glenn Beck did a great job. It's his heart felt plea. ITs his opinion and their Rally. No different than Trump's rowdy Rally. This is what makes America great. Voice your heart and soul! |
