We tried Libertarian Ron Paul twice and got Obama for it, even if he did try to run republican one of those times, just to have a fair chance. Been there. And no one's heard of a candidate from that party this year anyway.

Saddletramp, the way I see all these posts of yours, 1. you are a chicken...its so much easier not to back something as different as Trump. 2. If he wins, you'll get ridiculed for an hour, if he loses (50/50 chance) you get to brag and say how smart you are for as long as you bump your threads. It's like betting on the underdog, you'll probably lose, but if by some extreme upset you are right, you get to win big! I take that chance on Superbowl every year, no hurt no foul, but you are hurting your fellow americans in this instance by insulting what we so fervently want in changes for our country. It's really not about the man, it's about fighting the corrupt system, they keep us voting in. I think all Trump supporters worry we may be being played, but what else can we do? I support Trump reluctantly. I've pointed out here time and time again usually logged in as an AC that most of his supporters are rather emotionally unstable.

I don't know who to support. I don't believe any of them. I think I'll be able to look back in a year or two whether trump wins or not and say "I told you so" to all his staunch supporters who think he will do what he says.

I certainly don't respect 2/3 of his supporters, who turn every thread into an insult fest and act like they are somehow not sheep while everybody else is.. I can't respect people who whine and whine as they do when someone questions their guy... who insult over and over.. it just shows a sign of a weak position, contrary to what they think about making them look strong, they just look like little insecure bullies to me.

The reason republicans don't like him is because he's liberal on many issues, and he at least claims to be anti-immigration and anti-free trade, something the globalist elite will not really tolerate or stand for. The reason I don't mind him as much, is because I am not a republican or true conservative, but a moderate. I support things like planned parenthood and have a libertarian and even liberal bias to my views. I don't believe in legislating morality, denying contraception and telling people to simply "not have sex" .. stupid. Likewise the war on drugs is a failure.

The democrats, again don't like him because of his anti-immigration stances. Liberals are naive and think we should "help everyone" .. the global elite just wants to race mix to destroy homogeneous cultures and have cheap labor and increase their own power over everyone.

Honestly I think he has the best chance to defeat Hillary due to voter turnout, whereas Cruz has at best a 50/50 chance, depending on who his VP is. In the end, I doubt it matters who is in there. I'm rooting for Trump, for lack of anyone better....
