Political family shit storms are the best! My dad is a liberal and I didn't talk to him for a year because he voted for Obama in 2012.

I'm surrounded by Bernie-tards as well. I just tell 'em I'm for Trump, and after they gasp, I tell them why. They usually ask me what I think of Bernie, and I say he's a good gent, but his ideas are completely unpractical and unworkable. I try to explain Trump to them if they're at all willing to listen. And then we go on to other topics. Fortunately I only have one really insane sister in law who foams at the mouth over Trump, but I can't stand her anyway so it's no loss.

Yes, people should be allowed opinions. I am for Bernie, but I don't want or need free stuff. I simply state that and literally get death threats. So, I'm not as vocal about it because of that, but I shouldn't have to hide the simple fact of who I like, either. America is diverse and many choose a candidate because of their demeanor. This is why I chose Bernie. I do not like loud, self-absorbed, ugly people. Reminds me too much of my ex-husband. lol
