Wow, the responses truly are vague on here.
Yes, in order to raise you vibrational frequency you do need to change your thoughts...from negative to positive. Negative thoughs pull you down, they are dark, heavy, and make you unhappy. Positive thoughts lift you up, make you feel lighter, happy. Raising your vibrational frequency means to increase your positive thoughts as much as possible. When faced with a potentially negative situation try to see the positive aspects as opposed to the negative ones.
I don't remember where, or who, the quote comes from but think about this...there is no good or bad, there is only your perception. If you perceive a situation as negative then you are keeping your vibrational frequency low but if you perceive it as positive (or see the potential positives) then you increase your frequency.
Instead of getting angry at people for things shrug your shoulders and say, "It's not that big of a deal" and let it go or try to find a positive solution.
When you focus on the negative things you miss out on all the wonderful things and vice versa. Raising your frequency is simply changing your attitude and seeing more positive than negative...it is really very simple if you are willing to make the conscious effort to do so.
