Well, of course there would not be any planes capable of doing this at the base. Because they took off, left, to go make a boom and has not returned or had another destination. Its easy to say that after the fact. A sitting aircraft cant make a sonic boom.

Hmmm..."hand of god" seen in the clouds in Madeira, Portugal and earthquake and sky trumpet sounds in Morrocco earlier this week and now today, sonic boom in Jersey. Is the Atlantic rift getting ready to rumble?
