Quoting: parsley The guy who voted against states rights to require GMO labeling? The guy who, no doubt, will forever in the future vote yes on anything Monsanto. The guy who wants to increase the military budget by $190 billion The guy who is a career politician who, so far, has done nothing of merit. The guy who voted yes on NDAA2012, repealing the Smith Mundt Act and giving billions of dollars to the government so they can script and produce dramas masquerading as news. Is that the guy you want?' and what politically has trump done of merit? at this point its a whole lot of hot air promises isn't it? For starters, and he is not even in office, he broke the whole discussion of our borders and immigration into the forefront. In the private sector, he has accomplished much more than Rand Paul, that I can tell you; and he is experienced in foreign relations. I think Putin and Trump will work well together. Putin practically endorsed Trump. |

Quoting: TrumpsRedHat So he would consult the leading innovators from the private sector to develop methods of combating Islamic State propaganda and also would degrade the enemy combatants ability to access the internet by destroying server nodes in occupied territory. Nothing crazy about that. Your koolaid mustache is really beginning to show. Leading innovators? What has Bill Gates ever innovated? He feeds off the government! ISIS is government trained, funded and armed, so how exactly is Bill Gates going to stop them by taking away OUR 1st Amendment rights? Destroying the internet nodes overseas isn't taking away your first amendment right. This again shows you do not have a grasp on what you are trying to discuss. This is the equivalent of saying because we are degrading enemy communications, we are censoring First amendment rights of citizens of this country. We always deny the enemies ability to communicate during a time of war. But you probably never served so you wouldn't know. ISIS is not just an overseas problem, and around the time that statement was made the media was hyping the threat in the U.S. Much of ISIS online support is US based. So the overseas only argument is DOA. If you haven't noticed, the current administration has painted US as the enemy. Hence, our communications to be denied. Trump talks out of both sides of his mouth regarding ISIS, saying what he thinks people want to hear. They are a western government intelligence operation. Why not address that? I have served, keep making assumptions. No, the argument stands because everyone else in the world who isnt you understands that the Jihadiwood that makes the videos and uploads them does so from Al Raqqa or Mosul, not in the United States. The call to arms for lonewolf state side attacks originate from Syrian and Iraqi twitter accounts. Al Hayat and other Islamic media outlets originate from Syria. This is common knowledge to the rest of us and so is the solution to the issue. |

As for the whole destroying the internet (elsewhere) thing, you know that the next step after that is making it into a controlled environment where websites like this won't be allowed to exist, right? At the moment they cant do shit because people just host in other countries, but if you isolate it to only ourselves, then we end up like China's internet. Good job. |

Donald Trump didn't serve in the military but still knows that enemies should have their communications denied from them in order to degrade their mission readiness. ACs and Anti Trumpers on GLP seem to not be able to grasp that. Who knows, maybe that is a lesson Trump learned when he went to military school? |

I also don't think that is relevant, especially considering he has devoted an entire section of his website to dressing Veteran issues especially the VA. Quoting: KimmieAnnaJones Real estate mogul Donald Trump would not let states take control of federal lands, the Republican presidential candidate said in a recent interview. "I don't like the idea because I want to keep the lands great, and you don't know what the state is going to do," Trump said during a talk with Field & Stream magazine earlier this week. The trade publication, sitting down with Trump at Las Vegas' Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade Show, had asked about the issue of turning over federally controlled lands to individual states -- an idea previously floated by rival 2016 contender and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul and supported by staunch states-rights activists. The proposal has also received more attention in light of recent actions by radical conservatives like Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and his son Ammon Bundy, who led an armed group earlier this month in occupying a national wildlife refuge in Oregon to protest federal land use policies.
