I've seen how some states manage their land. I am not a fan of the feds, but some states are worse at managing than the fed gov.

The fact of the matter is that Donald Trump's concern over States selling their land when in a tight space isn't unheard of. It happens all the time:

Here is a great article about people privately buying ranches and vast swaths of land. They are billionaires hence why Trump is in the know and many are not.


The interview is with the hunting and fishing magazine Field and Stream and when States sell their land to private owners, they typically do not allow for others to go onto their land without a heftier fee. Upkeep also takes a sharp decline.

If OP really cared about eminent domain, then she would realize that without Trump, the NAFTA plan (under different names now) will continue; and when it continues we will realize eminent domain on steroids when the planned NAFTA highway several football fields in width will cut our country in half.

If you are against NAFTA you have to vote Trump who is also against it.

Well said! I also can't stress enough that Eminent Domain is in the Constitution! It is a granted right!

So when you are saying you are against Eminent Domain, you really are against parts of our Constitution. Funny coming from somebody who supports Rand Paul, a self proclaimed constitutionalist.

Hey, no problem man! If I hadn't gone to school to specifically learn about the Constitution, I wouldn't know something like this either. It is detailed in the full fifth amendment, most importantly when it is stated that JUST COMPENSATION must be afforded.

Terrorism is largely, if not completely, government funded and operated.

I guess that depends upon whether you are going by the original intent of the framers of the constitution or by the SCOTUS re-definition of the Takings clause, doesn't it?

So trump says he doesn't want to give the states federal land cause they may sale it to foreign interest. Thats great and all but is exactly what the Fed is and has been doing for many terms (republicans to blame as well). Maybe not the lands themselves but the rights that we reserved for ourselves.
I have not heard Trump comment, and he just woke up? Well he should be quite aware of the Harry Reid, BLM, Chinese, save the turtle scam. Yet Trump stays quite.
I think Trump tempered by a Paul V.P. ticket would be a balanced ticket for the party. Trump/Cruz sounds like slowing the road to tyranny from a run to a walk. It truly is sad americans are scared of things that go bump in the night and willing to give up liberty for a night light.
