As for "The Brink" the official explanation is that there is no time free on the airing schedule "He who people call a fool is not a fool, but he who takes flattery for Truth, is." |

They are "Limitless", which captures the feeling of the movie pretty well and "Chronicles of Shannara", which is kind of Lord of the Rings light. Apparently the Shannara author Terry Brooks is involved in the production, which is done down in New Zealand by the same artists who did Lord of the Rings. So far so good. With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible |

Started to watch "Chronicles of Shannara" too, which is airs in germany every wednesday 8pm (just after it airs in U.S.) on amazon prime video. Hope this one will last a bit... Anonymous Coward User ID: 57477732 United States 01/21/2016 05:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Modern television works best with shows that last only a few seasons. They can maintain high production values, tell a more intricate story and develop characters further than cinema would allow, and they can wrap it up before it loses steam. |

Because of this it looks like they are being cancelled randomly. But in reality there are evil people behind this, who decide what must stay and what must go. It's the same with the movies, most of intelligent movies are not profitable for the studios, because stupid and ignorant sheeple do not understand them. |

Quoting: serkok Jericho, Firefly, Caprica, V, Lucky Louie, ... I was going to start to watch Jericho, but never did yet. Probably safer if I don't? lol Do it. It's quite good, few episodes at begining maybe are slower, but then it's very good. Jericho was ended after season two probably because it hasn't succeded in USA. Before you'll finish this tv-show you'll know why :-) “In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” - George Orwell |

As for "The Brink" the official explanation is that there is no time free on the airing schedule Viewrship ratings are part of the equation, but don't forget about production costs. It all comes down to profitability for the network, and even a crappy sitcom with mediocre ratings can bring in more money for the network than another show with somewhat higher ratings that happens to be much more expensive to produce. |
