Yonaguni-jima underwater monument off of Japan
Saw this on a history channel show. Could this be part of the Atlantis Myth? [link to www.morien-institute.org]

Re: Yonaguni-jima underwater monument off of Japan
These things are all over the world! Including India and around the Mediterranean. The one off Cuba is especially mysterious because it's so deep. These monolithic structures could only have been built when the oceans were much lower, during the last ice age about roughly ~10,000 years ago. Were we not supposed to be at best simple farmers back then? Something's not right.

...i guess...actually, a age of 10,000 years old puts them back in the great building era of the egyptians.
____-
what about pre-noah civilizations?
that fits,....but built by who?

Just one of these structures is amazing by itself, but world wide?! The ancients (IMHO) were far more advanced then we give them credit for. And as you pointed out this stuff is pretty obvious and this has been obvious for quite some time now. So why are the History books not reflecting this? Keep the old ones and save paper?

Re: Yonaguni-jima underwater monument off of Japan
no, that predates the old kingdom by 5500 years. Even the Sumerian-Mesopotamians were from a era of 3000BC. If we are talking about man leaving a significant mark beyond cave picto-illustrations, then we need to rewrite some history book. The lastest discovers are in Peru a city that predates any other records. The recent discovery in Brazil, soon followed by the one found in Mexico City.... Maybe edger casey was right?

Good post. It seems the more we 'dig' into our past the more "interesting" it gets!!!

Re: Yonaguni-jima underwater monument off of Japan
? why don't the history books explain...?
____-
bevause like the ufo's and the million year old spheroids and every other oddity "they" can't explain. They didn't get to where they are, these experts, by saying they don't know. When they don't know, they know they had better PRETEND everything is all squared-away....or they look as stupid about it as they mostly are.
Those who read GLP know much more.
(and i'm not joshin')
