In the Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic, when you put all the descriptions of death, the grave, and what is mistranslated as "Hell" together correctly, you get a purifying fire, like a smelter.

Because your Bible says that anyone who has faith that Jesus died for their sins will be saved. Christianity teaches that we are saved by grace alone through faith alone. Christianity teaches that we ALL sin, and so it is faith that saves us.

Why do Christians judge homosexuality separately? If someone stole or told lies, but believed in Jesus, you would say they go to Heaven. But if someone had gay sex, you would say they automatically go to Hell. Why is that? Doesn't your religion teach that all sin is equal?

The New Testament was spoken in Aramaic and Hebrew and transcribed into Greek. Many of the words and phrase and parables don't make much sense until you know Aramaic, then they are brilliant, hilarious, and very cutting.

I don't think that's exactly how it works. Sin is sin. Whether it's homosexuality or stealing or lying. We have all sinned in one way or another. The important factor is did he repent of those sins? Yes Christ did die for each one of our sins but unless we accept the fact that he did and then repent of our sinful life and then change who we were before then I'm afraid Mr. Bowie isn't celebrating in heaven. It's a harsh thing to say, but that's the truth. We are given free will to choose what we will do. I do not know his heart, nor will I begin to speculate. It is not my place to judge. But for his own sake, and for the sake of those who love and admire him, I pray that he did accept Jesus as his personal savior.
