I work in a high poverty inner-city school. It's diet. Some of the kids literally eat McD's every morning and many nights. Many don't cook and if so its processed Mac and cheese, hamburger helper or other quick, cheap fillers. It's amazing what the human body can live on. But it does make 'em heavy.
