I was a tiny bit scared during the Super Bowl blackout. The adrenaline was pretty crazy.

But was there ever a GLP post...or person (no names just the facts lol) that concerned or scared you?

Oh, HELL YEAH!
There were several years of "OMG! We're all gonna die!" lol

The first, I think, was some asteroid doom.
Nope. No, it was Y2K. I bought a camp stove, some propane tanks, extra food, etc. and ended up thankful for that blip on my radar. A few days after that 'doom off' sigh, a huge ice storm hit and shut the power off for days.

I don't think you could spend any time really paying attention here without going through a good scare or two.
Those realizations don't come easy, but (imho) are worth the the head trips/ changes gone through.

Personally, the Jade Helm and ice cream trucks that were seen together was one of three that caught my eye and made me think not all posts were crazy or full of shit. Lol The second one STILL rocks my world and it is Yellowstone. That is enough to keep seismologists awake for a decade.

You are so right and I do so, every single day. I was born and raised in the south. Family is first and most important thing in life. Looking out for one another was what we were taught.

I posted this in another thread, but I'll post it here since it's a bit fitting.

A little while ago, I had been lurking the MK/Handler threads. I started to get a little creeped out by what I was reading and got some bad vibes from the threads/posters.

The next day, I had a text on my phone from a phone number I didn't recognize. It just said 'Hey' and then my real name. I searched the phone number on the internet, and the area code was a NY number. I don't know anyone in NY, so I texted back asking who it was. They replied with "Your new owner" and then my real name again.

I'm pretty sure now that it was my crazy ex, but at the time, it scared the poop outta me because of the sheer timing of it all. I don't know why he'd have a NY number though...
