I SAW TWO SUNS RISING THIS MORNING PIC INSIDE | |

Rather the opposite. Since the sun dogs became fashionable, people see Nibiru 24/7. OK. So when in your opinion did sun dogs become fashionable with proof that they did. So you have not recognised the increase lately? |

I have never seen it before in these same atmospheric conditions. I also Googled Nibiru pics and saw a few images that looked just like it... I really don't know but it looks so bizarre when you see it in person. I have read about Nibiru but didn't really know what to believe until today! AND OP ARE THEY STILL THERE? IF THAT WAS TWO SUNS YOU WOULD KEEP SEEING TWO SUNS ALL DAY LONG AS WOULD EVERYONE ELSE. Apparently this needs quoting for those that never got it... |

Lenses flare is real- just not on single flat glass elements. I went into depth on this matter and in typical "Doctor" fashion, you replied one word to me . . . "Wrong" with nothing at all to back up my extensive knowledge of optical formulas and Low Dispersion glass with modern coatings. |

"Filter flare Arthur Hood captured a UFO flying in over the pier of Brighton (figure 4). Did he? Well, no. The object in the air is in actual fact a mirror image of the building on the pier. Its windows are so bright that ghosts pop up in the dark sky." [link to toothwalker.org] Filter flare creates a reflection of bright objects in the image. Your chosen screen name is especially ironic considering the above example. "In Arthur's case the flare is due to the protective filter that he used on his Carl Zeiss 4/80–200." Bahahaha. Also, if filter flares do not exist, I dare you to explain this video: Last Edited by Astromut on 01/05/2016 09:09 AM |

[link to i.imgur.com] Actually the first sun is behind branches from a tree and therefore so too is its reflection. The sun itself is over-exposed so you can only see the branches in the dimmer reflection. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 69474936 Canada 01/05/2016 02:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Listen closely you fools. If an object that big is actually near the sun everyone on the planet would see it everyday and the sun would be much more active. Ever notice these pictures always occur on cloudy days and you never see this on a clear day unless it is filter flare. Even a dark brown dwarf would have started reflecting the suns light once it entered our solar system. Before you run off and kill your dogs like that shill once told you to do, study a little science and use a lot of common sense before you post useless crap. It is possible we are a binary system with a 25,600 year orbit, but eve then everyone would be seeing it as it neared perihelion with its twin. All these stupid images with a huge second sun by ours are nothing but sun dogs and lens flare. Its basic science folks. |

I looked out the kitchen window and thought, "Why the heck is the sun rising behind THAT mountain range?" I went to look further and saw the usual sunrise to the left. I just stood there a moment with my mouth open and then went to get my IPad. I took 4 Pics but the one I am posting here was the only one I resized. Quoting: CutiPatuti Was it a mirage? Was it Nibiru? What the heck did I see? I live in Northern New Mexico and this was East/ Southeast of our property. :2 suns: its Nibby!! |

Even when the sighting is witnessed by others. I can see GLP is in need of a overseer to deflect the truth away from discovery. You do know that you're doing a good job of convincing me, not. More toward convincing your true intentions though. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 70547102 United States 01/05/2016 05:32 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is what wiki says about sun dogs...and it really doesn't sound like what I saw as there was not something on both sides of the sun..it did mention the happen when the sun is close to the horizon. Quoting: CutiPatuti "Sun dogs (or sundogs), mock suns[1] or phantom suns,[2] scientific name parhelia (singular parhelion), are an atmospheric phenomenon that consists of a pair of bright spots on either side on the Sun, often co-occurring with a luminous ring known as a 22° halo.[3]" You're pic is a 'by the book' classic sun dog consider yourself lucky, ive yet to see one First time I have ever seen this myself, but I do see a lot of weird sights in the sky out here because there are very few lights at night...and the views of the mountains are spectacular during the day. I saw some fantastic UFO dances at night when I lived in Albuquerque some years ago. Saw a fireball, too. A green ball with a lovely long green tail behind it. |

Why are rainbows so accepted as dispersed light? What the original image is the light of the sun not being dispersed by the ice crystals in the cloud, but acting more like a mirror and reflecting the light of the sun, keeping the image intact. Done. |
