What a fucking disaster.

The late FBI Special Agent Ted Gunderson, who died with nothing, had become extremely interested in this particular field after leaving the FBI.

The information about the holidays is likely part of a compilation he had put together.

The thing with Ted though, is that he had just assumed he was dealing with some shadowy group of weirdos, similar to criminals he'd pursued in the FBI, or criminals that standard LE pursue.

If he'd thought that he was dealing with autonomous monsters from some other realm for one second, he would have started running and never looked back.

The most interesting thing is when he started trying to track and trace 'the trail of the serpent' and ended up spending his own money to excavate suspected 'satanic sites'.

He ended up in the mountains of California, trying to decipher unknown 'satanic signs' on makeshift alters and walls....

One can say with confidence at this point that things didn't work out very well for the satanists, or for anyone.

Like several odd disappearances in New Mexico and elsewhere, 'the trail of the serpent' ends with foot steps that just abruptly stop. 100 man search teams with trained dogs don't even find a shred of clothing, a shoe, or anything matching the known scent.

This is what Ted ran into, the Houdini disappearing act.

Skip ahead several years, and 1/300th of our population at minimum has been killed by a virus nobody can explain. The Russians are running around murdering and raping for no explainable reason, and everything else has gone to hell as well.
