Is Rush backing Cruz for the Presidency?

Rush is a garbage sellout. I knew he'd turn on Trump.

Probably didn't get an invite to Trump's annual Christmas party.

He's very subtle in how he does it, Trump may not be who he says he is & such....Wow even Rush turning on Trump!

Let's see if Michael Savage will now turn on Trump?

It's the rights nuclear option, this is 5heir last bullet and Rush was told what to do.

I like Rush's astute commentary but for 25 years he's been helping prop up the Republican establishment when he should have been helping destroy that establishment and replace it.

Extremely few Republicans actually support or defend small-r republicanism or federalism. Most of them are actually just right-wing Progressives.

If I was Trump run independent & screw the repuks. Only 1 party anyway so what's the difference anyway.

Rush pushes whatever is best for ratings, he loves it when Democrats are in office its better for show....While Hannity(who I really think is a good guy) doesn't want to step on any of his establishment buddies toes but is a true conservative. Savage is the best at least he's not afraid of the conspiracy label attached to him and speaks mostly the truth. I'd go Andrew Wilkow after Savage then Levin for my money.

The thread is proof that so many people listen only for what they want to hear and apply their bias to anything outside of that.

Rush regularly defends Trump as well when callers or news reports need to be corrected. Just because he says something nice about a candidate does not mean he is "hanging on his nuts".

I agree I don't know how you can like Cruz and not like Trump at the same time or vice-versa

I am a long time listener of Rush & disagree with what you wrote. In my opinion he thinks he is subtle & today was the 1st time he has shall I say leaned away from Trump & he let his guard down to show he is a Ted Cruz's supporter because Trump's interview bashed Cruz on Chris Wallace show. He dished Rush's boy & no one will get away with that!

Rush used to defend Trump now listen over the course of the next few days you will hear him propping up Cruz more & more!

Rush slipped & let his guard down to show who he is supporting. Maybe he doesn't even realize he did it!

I love talk radio & over the decades I have noticed they all have the same talking points on any given day. It will be interesting to see if Michael Savage will follow Rush's lead as he usually does & distancing himself from Trump. Can't wait to listen to tonight's show!

Barack Obama FOREVER removed that as a requirement. Admitting anything otherwise means stripping the record of his "presidency".

We ALL know that Pelosi and Reid took care of Obama's paperwork or lack thereof.

If you intend to challenge Cruz on this you must first take Pelosi Reid and about 100 others into custody immediately and bring charges of treason in a military tribunal.

He didn't turn on Trump. He was just talking about Trump's statement on Cruz. Trump said something to the effect of Cruz can't work with Congress because he yells at them sometimes. I listened to Trump's remarks, and I have to say, it's the first time Trump didn't sound like Trump. He was talking about how he could work with Congress where Cruz would fail because he, Trump, has a personaliy better suited for it. That sounds like mainstream Republican candidate talk, and doesn't fit with anything Trump has said up to this point. I would have expected him to back Cruz up on that front, considering Cruz's treatment of his colleagues in Congress is not much different than Trump's treatment of pretty much everybody.

I'm still a Trump guy, but those were some weird comments.
