We sure could do with some... havent had any here for nearly 3 long years! we have snow boots, snow suits, sledges, and no snow.

We Ended up taking the kids the the dry ski slope last winter.
It really is no where near as good as the real thing!

My youngest was only a year old last time we got some snow so i can not wait to see her lovely little face when we do get some!
Seeing her reaction to the snow for the first time is going to be priceless.

Had to take the kids to a xmas party yesterday afternoon, they had a Punch and Judy show, it was atually quite good, but i ended up sitting next to the speaker (only spot left) which didnt help the hangover! Kids loved it though! And i feel back to normal today

This is my first Ask me Question Thread, i was feeling festive and the Brandy helped!

Also i have no problem being asked personal questions, as long as its appropiate to the settings its being asked in/ and the level to which i know the person

Same here, once i start something, i wont stop until its done...so i dont start anything at all unless i can acheive that objective..hence why the hubby normally does it all on xmas eve usually...but im glad its out the way now anyway.

I did that one year to a branch of the family who had never bothered to ever say thank you.

I gave them a donation to a charity, one that gives a gift of animals to a poverty stricken family to raise to build a herd or something like that. They loved it. So much intelligent instruction in civility was lost on them.

I've set my eyes on Thursday.

I've gotta do it sooner, I mail most of mine. For the last couple of years I have sent gift cards for the littlest ones and a US $1 Silver Eagle coin for the older ones. They love it. I avoid a LOT of postage that way.

The local ones get their gifts in bags with few exceptions. Life is too short to spend it wrapping boxes and curling ribbons.

I ordered most of my stuff online this year, just did not feel in the mood to go to go to the malls. I cut it close with ordering though as I'm leaving for vacation this Saturday and need everything to arrive here before then so I can take everything with me. For some reason, I have all these delivery notifications in my email, but only see one actual notice in my physical mailbox. Going to go see if I can solve this problem in a bit.
