Quoting: Anonymous Coward 58289794 The "law" of attraction might be real, but it is seems to be over-amplified in "The Secret". For example, if you're struggling financially, being relentlessly positive it can certinally help in many ways. In the metaphysical aspect, you MAY attract positive people who will open up opportunities for you. If that is actually how things work. In the realistic sense, being relentlessly positive will help make you a more happy person. Your attitude will attract people of the same attitude. You may also open up new opportunities with a bright and positive attitude. The thing that won't happen, is winning the lottery because you practiced the "techniques" in The Secret. In conclusion, there is no need to believe in "The Secret". Framing everything in a positive light and focusing on what you want to do in life is, in general, is a life-changing attitude. Yes, it is all about being positive and not letting doubt crowd it out. We bring to us who we really are. And if we don't like who we are then we need to change it. |

I think I just had an "aha" moment... I think you are absolutely right that it is other people's intention towards you that makes it happen. That really makes more sense to me coming from my own experience. Wow! I know when I am in a bad mood I tend to run into problems with people. Get myself in a good mood and the troublesome people disappear. I'll just find people smiling at me more and doing nice things for me. I don't understand it all but being in an upbeat mood really does matter. |
