I've been watching this for the last half hour. Documentary of familiar faces.

The story where he stopped stuttering is awesome. I cried.

Had to chuckle the other day, when at a random market I spotted your avi picture.

How have you been Seer?

I'm doing pretty well. Happy to be getting back into the swing of semi-normality although not sure if it will last looking around.

A lot of vendors didn't show up yesterday and I think it is because they are older and scared. Hopefully we can just be done with Covid thing soon. So tired of it.

How are you? I heard from another just a couple days ago that you were doing really well. I was happy to hear it.
 Quoting: Seer777

Things were a bit crazy on the day with a snap lockdown in the capital. Lots of people saying the event was the smallest it had ever been (yearly event) and chatting to vendors many of them were in dire straights, living in cars either due to finance or the surges in house pricing/rent.

Would actually be curious to know who that might be?

July is one of the best selling months. I was shocked at how few artists showed up yesterday. Most did what we did, and just sat the last 16 months out.

Market sales are back like they were in 2019 so that is really promising. I am a bit nervous as Scandinavian Festival is coming up soon and the crowds are enormous and the selling hours, brutal. I don't really want to do it and risk catching the Delta variant, but..

I have asked about you, but no one knew. It was Chris I got the update on. I realized after I wrote that it, it was you.

Visited a friends psychic expo on the same day, was shocked at the small size, and the lack of people. She'd hosted a similar event earlier in the year that was massive in comparison, and she bemoaned that it was one of the smallest.

Things had been somewhat calm in this state, but the delta thing has amped it right up. Even the aforementioned women rushed up as soon as we walked in asking if we'd been in the capital today, before shaking herself and saying of course not.

How are things around the virus in your area? News paints a bit of bleak picture around it all. People are mixed here, with some freaking out to those who consider it all conspiracy...and are freaking out to..but you know...different reasons...*chuckle*

Have not spoke to him in quite a few months, had a few things going on around then heh.

It's what I do to support my lifestyle. Getting back to normal. The numbers are really low in Oregon so I probably just psyching myself out.

I was a germaphobe before Covid. The last year and a half, didn't make that any better. I didn't leave my front doorstep for months at a time.

Now I have to acclimate back into life before Covid.

We have a 'psychic/aura reader' that sets up at Market. She set up across from me for a couple of years, sometimes when the energy was just pumping off me..and she never said a damn thing to me. I did hope she could see it. If she could, she never mentioned it. Maybe because I didn't give her $20.

How did things go with the lady you were seeing a couple months back? The one with the syncs.

Yeah know someone here like that. Did some work in her shop, and if cash was not involved, normally took a fair push to get her...well, anything heh. Had to stop offering my work thru there, especially after a funny sync or two... but you know, not everyone is honest, and those that are, will say they don't know everything...maybe she sat there on those days thinking wtf?

We still catch up on occasion. Was at the aforementioned fairs with her, but our work has largely concluded. Winds took me to a little beach town a few hours away.

When she did a 'reading' she would have people stand in front of green sheet. She was also like 8 feet from them, instead of maybe 20-30 feet away from me. I saw her staring at me a few times but she never said anything, and I never asked.

I keep to myself for the most part at Market. I'm there to make money, not socialize. I have a group of specific artists I will talk to, and no one else.

Beach town sounds awesome. I've seen some pictures of the Australian beaches. Beautiful.

I'm staying away from alcohol & coffee beverage, these conflict or cancel out my medications.

Other than that, not much going on in IRL apart from the whole covid thing.

I have the "been there, done that" feelings with many things and stuff like that.

What do you drink instead? I've been drinking a lot of sun tea lately(unsweetened). We make 2, 2 quart jars of sun tea, almost every day. Ginger, turmeric, peach and regular black tea for an afternoon kick. Black tea is surprisingly good for you.

I just bought some Lion's mane. I'm gonna try it on myself first and then try to convince my mom to try it. She brushed off my original enthusiasm some day back but I'm gonna keep working at it. Suppose to be good for anxiety too.

I thought the green background was strange too. Dunno. She must get enough business to keep coming back. While being pretty inexpensive, it cost money to set up, plus a percentage of your sales, and then you have to sit there all day. I've seen tons of people come and go over the years and only the best survive. It's not easy. Especially when it is hot, really cold or raining.

Covid changed that, so now newbies are getting spaces left by the old timers.

Fresh energy and art at the Market is always good.

Water & orange juice mostly.

I'm thinking of trying out earl grey tea once again like Captain Picard does:

But a hint of caffeine could mess me up since my brain is very sober and sensitive to any dose of stimulant of sort. Even a few mint candies I took boosted me quite so.

Water & orange juice mostly.

I'm thinking of trying out earl grey tea once again like Captain Picard does:

But a hint of caffeine could mess me up since my brain is very sober and sensitive to any dose of stimulant of sort. Even a few mint candies I took boosted me quite so.

Juice has a lot of sugar, so I wouldn't drink too much of it. A 6oz glass, use to be considered a serving of juice.

A lot of tea is decaffeinated. Amazing flavors and smells too. we have like 20 different boxes of tea. takes up a bunch of cupboard space.

Do you feel better overall with the meds you are taking? Are they helping the reason for taking them?

Re: Mad World
When she did a 'reading' she would have people stand in front of green sheet.

Beautiful.

Aura reader or such maybe? Known one that asks for a white background. Who knows what the convo may have been.

Must get a... diverse... crowd in those markets. Both sellers and buyers.

Got very lucky getting this place. The market is just crazy at the moment. Way to common story of people hav.ing to leave towns and homes they lived in for decades

Funnily enough, the booth with your avi was a tarot reader - lone one at that fair. Lol thinking about it my friend went back there today to grab an item or two from cash only vendors, and bought me an item from the same lady that had caught my eye but had been cash only.

People I talk to say then same thing about running booths here. Can certainly see the ones who have been at it for many years

Re: Mad World
I never enjoyed being entangled by the energy, while I'm trying to sell. It was a source of contention for years that thankfully has mostly stopped.

Try to imagine how distracting it is, when the energy is blowing up my forehead when I'm trying to pay attention to my customers..or my entire body is vibrating or the pulsing or the waves or the sexual energy. Distracting.

Not for work time with public.

I went to a tarot reader once. She has been around the Market for decades and is good at what she does. I went to her just after I went to IV's Secrets thread and asked her to do a reading on IV.

She called him my 'muse' at the time.

Wonder whatever happened to IV..what he would say to me now..
