I decided I wanted to watch something mindless and unlike anything I would normally watch yesterday.

The first episode was about Haiti and how almost nothing is better there going on 11 years after the earthquake there, that killed some estimate 300,000 people.

Are Humans a Fungal Body And Our Consciousness a Mycilium?

During the past couple of days, I've been wondering a bit about consciousness and I bumped into some interesting material that suggest to me that the entire collection of humans on Earth are essentially a form of hyper-advanced fungal matter that has grown on Earths outer most surface as a form of mycelial mat.

With what purpose I'm not sure, but I'm thinking that we are a sort of organism that is a part of a larger plant intelligence, and we've been created by this plant intelligence through millions of years of evolution as a hyper-intelligent spore-system that has been given the ability to potentially develop interplanetary travel and thus make it possible for the (plant intelligence) to spread beyond its own planetary constraint.

Fungi are different from plants in that they also breath oxygen and exhale Co2, just like humans, if you look at fungal mycelium (a mushrooms underground communication-system) then you see very advanced forms of networks that attempts to organize in the most efficient manner, even with the use of intelligent adaptive techniques, just like human consciousness.
