He talks like a proper leader unlike Cameron Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70907807 I don't think he will be allowed to go to your house, but thank you anyway. I can't recall our citizens ever calling for a ban on any British citizen. I think we should re-think our policies. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70882078 See what I did there? Yep. I'm British (currently in Malta though), and I can say that all the Brits I'm talking to, and my family back in the UK, are absolutely disgusted with the British media, politicians and celebrities who are jumping on the 'ban Trump' bandwagon. We all think we should ban Islam from the UK. Interestingly, according to a map of the voting, most of the votes on the ban Trump petition come from London and Scotland. Now many people don't like the Daily Mail, but like it or not it is one of the most read newspapers/new websites in the UK and, looking at the green/red arrows on the comments section under the Trump stories, it seems like the VAST majority of Brits actually agree with Trump. The UK has a major problem with a very vocal minority who have hijacked much of the media, educational and political arena. They are the same ilk as those in the UAF (Unite Against Facism) thug organisation. These people don't seem to realise that the more they act like this, mouthing off about Trump etc and claiming to represent the British population, the more quiet vast majority of that population feel alienated and angry. The lid will blow soon, and those Islamic apologists will be the first ones who feel the force of the anger. Many Brits, all around the world, stand with Americans who feel like Trump. |

While what he said was somewhat alarming and shocking, that type of in your face solution is what is needed nowadays. The time of political correctness and dancing around issues and huge conferences full of hot air are over. We need solutions. Not pussyfooting around and literally killing ourselves to ensure that the so called minorities are comfy, rich and don't have their precious feelings hurt. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22050343 The media has ginned this up to be controversial, but if you read what Trump actually said it is very reasonable. We have done this before with other groups of people including the Iranians, but at that time we didn't suffer from a 24 hour, need to fill the news cycle media. People actually read what Carter had to say about the ban rather than listen to some hysterical news reader editorializing against a ban that was never called for. The key point of Trump's statement was that he read it and it was not off the cuff. He knew exactly what he was doing and why. |

I really don't think Americans understand what is going on in Britain. It really is the case that Islam has infiltrated every aspect of education, politics and mainstream media to the point that the views and policies that are reported have little or no relationship to what most Brits think. Really, it is unbelievable. I saw it when I was at school in the 80s and 90s, and then college and uni in the easrly 2000s. Pro-Islamic propaganda has been forced upon everyone to a ludicrous degree. I also lived in the US in 97-99 and it wasn't even remotely as bad as the UK. Really, I remember being forced to visit mosques and all kinds of crap in the UK with school. Islam is, and has been, plotting a take over of Europe for a long, long time. |

Islam is, and has been, plotting a take over of Europe for a long, long time. Your media, and from my personal experience with brits, are siding with the wrong people. It is not the left in the US who would come to your aid should you ever need it. The left would wring their hands and cry large crocodile tears, but it would be the right who embrace traditional European Christian values who would help. However, this constant "official" abuse which your country extends to ours is taking its toll and I don't think you can safely look this way anymore. When silence would do, Britain shouts its hate for America. Sorry but that is how I see it. |

(OP) User ID: 3677166 United States 12/09/2015 11:36 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Donald Trump, who has called for a blanket ban on Muslims entering the US to combat terrorism in the wake of a mass shooting, once attended a Sinn Fein fundraising dinner in the early days of the peace process when the republican party was wedded to the IRA. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70937133 You have that totally backwards...It was Ted Kennedy who was worshipped and adored by Britain while he was involved with Sinn Fein. It was Joe Kennedy who supported Hitler against Britain and still the Brits adore our left wing democrats over white conservative Americans. Look what they did to Romney choosing to support BO. Our friend from Malta says that Britain is influenced by Islam against white America? Well it seems that the average Brit has always preferred Americans who aren't white: "At the height of World War Two, with the country gripped in a life or death fight for freedom against fascism and dictatorship, dozens of local drinkers fought alongside black soldiers against white Military Police officers harassing them outside a Lancashire pub. It was just one extraordinary example of the active support shown by ordinary Britons for the thousands of black American troops stationed amongst them during the war - in stark contrast to the vicious racist abuse they received from their fellow countrymen. The Lancashire riot was just one of hundreds of cases of simple humanity displayed by ordinary Britons towards black soldiers. Details of the riot are revealed in a new book exploring the experience of black GIs stationed in Britain during the war." -snip- "...For the black GIs, to be treated with basic decency, after years of suffering humiliation, abuse and the daily threat of lynching from whites in the segregated southern states of their native US was, in the words of one of their number, Arthur Guest, like “a spark of light”. There are probably others, but these three stick in my mind as they were purposely banned to show British muslims that stands with them opposed to Jews. |

Quoting: Agent Smith 2014 But they cry and get stressed out when somebody suggests in effect a no fly list for immigrants coming into the country who are not citizens or American and their type has been known to participate and support terrorism in many cases. Democrats use the "no-fly" list to harass their political "enemies" the same way they use the IRS to harass political opponents and still Britain loves democrats. At the end of Bush's presidency there were less than 50,000 on the list. The democrats decided that Christian groups were more dangerous than muslim ones and the list exploded to 700,000 names. |
