ISIS - Pearl Harbor - And Insane Decisions
When our enemies struck at us, we answered and struck back with deadly force. We would not be beaten and bullied, living in fear.

Please read:

On December 7, 1941, Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese. Over 2400 people lost their lives.

At the time, Hawaii was not a U.S. state, but had a military base owned and occupied by the United States. After Pearl Harbor, all Americans feared Japan would attack within the continental U.S. they even had black out drills my Grandfather said. They all lived in fear. The president ordered internment camps to be set up and all Japanese-Americans to be held there, not knowing if they were loyal to their homeland and would attack us. There was a strong presence of Japanese living on the West coast and border states, however the Internment camps were located all over the U.S.

In answer to the Pearl Harbor attack upon Americans, we dropped not one but two nuclear bombs on Japan for what they had done to us. Americans had to answer, they did so with the ultimate deadly force.

Can someone please tell me, why our country, with Barack Obama as president, why would we allow an enemy like ISIS to terrorize us, why we would allow multiple terrorist strikes on our cities and individuals, why would we ever allow refugees from a suspected country of terrorists links come here to live.. and then ask for our only means, our legally purchased guns to protect ourselves, to be controlled and possibly banned?

How in the world did the United States of America ever fall so far to believe the decisions being made would ever work and make us safe?? More importantly, what can be done - besides protect ourselves, each man for their own?

On August 6, 1945, the American bomber Enola Gay dropped a five-ton bomb over the Japanese city of Hiroshima. A blast equivalent to the power of 15,000 tons of TNT reduced four square miles of the city to ruins and immediately killed 80,000 people. Tens of thousands more died in the following weeks from wounds and radiation poisoning. Three days later, another bomb was dropped on the city of Nagasaki, killing nearly 40,000 more people.

Terror is what these monsters have done. I don't know what this ISIS BS is all about... Sounds like some BS to put fear into us to take rights away and our guns!

We are fishers of men. Fishermen don't bang gongs and scream to catch fish. They "wisely" bait their hooks and capture the imagination of the fish.

5*.
100%. It's now time for the sheep to all fall in line. But it won't be what they thought it was and will have no excuse.
It's like the twilight zone right now.
Where's all the ultralibs that were so intellectually far above us that put signs in their yards about ending "the war" in the 2000's? crickets. with your midnight marches and acoustic guitars. and beards. pshhh

OP, your post and comparisons make total sense. And it does to the majority of americans. But only a small percentage of those is willing to defend it. How could there be any option when faced with losing life as you know it? Freaking robots!
why is everyone going along with not calling this what it is, open war on our soil? Why does it seem like so many are just silently complicit? hoping they aren't inconvenienced- or taking a stance of ANY kind on their silly soc. media circles.

They've eroded sovereignty! That was the goal. apparently.

It's gettin' weird.

Thank you Revo, this is one time I wish my analogy wasn't right. Unfortunately, we are living in one state. The state of confusion. So many opinions on what we should do, from total out of touch lunatics to groups happily being complacent.

Until a reputable person that all Americans respect and believe in stands up and uses perfect logic as to why this is rotten to the core, I am afraid most will continue with their heads in the sand, not rocking the boat. Either out of fear or out of ignorance.
