Quoting: Loewin Remember Jimmy Chamberlain from Smashing Pumpkins? He OD'd, but survived. Hell, he was kicked out of SP like Scott was from STP, but James was able to really clean up. Axl's cousin, Shannon: [Youtube] [link to youtu.be (secure)] I don't think they were cousins. I could be wrong here but I thought they were just close friends. I just looked it up, you're right - they're not. I suppose it was an incorrect misnomer I heard back in the 90s and continued to remember it :/ |

It's like damn why couldn't you have kept producing music like this after the first two albums! Quoting: WOLF* Yes! I too saw them opening for the Peppers in 00, can't remember where though, either the arena or tacoma dome..... |

RIP Scott [link to www.celebritynetworth.com] Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living. ~ Life is about choices, you get to make them each and every day of your life. ~ Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.~ Only in America... do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poloi' in Greek meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.~ “When a government is dependent for money upon the bankers, they and not the government leaders control the nation. This is because the hand that gives is above the hand that takes. Financiers are without patriotism and without decency.” If you're not a liberal at twenty you have no heart, if you're not a conservative at forty you have no brain. Winston Churchill |

Grow up. When you post about an unknown person give a little background and add a link. yeah they can as a matter of fact and unless you've been living in a cave the last twenty five years Scott Weiland is hardly 'obscure and unknown'. you just went through five pages of links to the music and you still sound like a fucking mental midget. i'll see your 'grow up' and raise you a 'fuck off' "We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time." - T. He wasn't perfect. But he wasn't all bad, Sometimes a persons voice makes the hurt go away for a short time. Even it makes the singer die a little inside. His voice was amazingly soothing, like Chris Cornell's. Well I was hoping to find some concert performances from back when they were in their prime (early/mid 90's). I can't filter my youtube searches and was getting mostly recent performances of them touring... As far as specific tracks I would love to see them performing Wicked Garden, Army Ants, Unglued - or even Plush and Creep would be fine. Thanks for your help! I miss 90's alternative/grunge! Anonymous Coward User ID: 1201724 United States 12/05/2015 05:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Anyone remember how if you let the 2nd album (Purple) continue playing after the last track that hidden track ('12 Graceous Melodies') would come on and start playing with Scott sounding like a lounge singer? That was an interesting surprise back in the day, haha. |
