More people are killed by drunk driving every year then they are murdered by guns.

Alright, the narrative is that guns are bad and there needs to be a discussion on gun control. SO lets see for instance the number of murders per year from the FBI

Now it should be noted more than 60% of death by firearm is suicide.

So that being said, how is it that murder by firearm is a bigger concern than death by DUI when more people are killed due to drunk driving than those murdered by guns? Yes I know people will point out that death by guns is over 30,000 but remember, more than 60% of those are suicide. Those people willfully killed themselves, so if you want to go down that road than please be reminded that more than 30,000 people are killed on our roadways every year so even using the argument that you need to include the whole number when it comes to gun deaths the same needs to be applied to deaths on our roadways. That being said, we have bigger problems that need to be addressed than murders by gun.
