This is an old trick and has been done numerous times, of course we are all familiar with other painted on outfits.

you know why no one noticed? because the leggings that women wear these days are basically the same thing as painted on pants. i'm sorry, that isn't fashion. that is forgetting to put on your dress.

look back over the millenia of time.

skin tight leggings are basically tights or hosiery. at no time, ever, since people moved to northern climes, have women ever just worn stockings without a dress. even men who wore stockings wore a tunic over it.

gosh, i know you guys may LIKE it, but that doesn't mean you want your sisters, mother, daughter wearing this.

it isn't fashion, and really besides being sexy it isn't really timeless, or beautiful.

it's socks.
