Was unaware they claim ellen whites writings to be above the bible. Have read some ellen white and even she said her writings are not above the bible. So not sure where ya got that from.

We could stop here with the first quote of EGW as she claims to replace Jesus Christ and is now speaking for God. This in itself shows that Adventism is a cult when comparing it with Hebrews 1:1-2.

God never told his church that Jesus would be replaced by Ellen Gould White or any other prophet or prophetess.

EGW: "In these letters which I write, in the testimonies I bear, I am presenting to you that which the Lord has presented to me. I do not write one article in the paper expressing merely my own ideas. They are what God has opened before me in vision--the precious rays of light shining from the throne." —Testimonies, vol. 5, p. 67.

It has been proven that much of what EGW wrote did not come from "the throne of God" but copied from books in her 1200 book library.

I didn't see any prophecies that she gave that needed to come true. I think she was speaking to her time and not demeaning the time of the great prophets.

I'm not saying that she was a gifted prophetess but there are people who are dreaming endtime dreams and seeing visions now. Dave Wilkerson was laughed at 20yrs. ago and now his prophecies are coming true.

I have read that the SDA is moving away from the prophecies of Ellen White. But what bothers me is the vegetarianism because God gave us the animals to eat and no matter what man tries to do to destroy the health they provide to us, I believe that my simple prayer asking God to bless my food protects me. Of course, this church didn't know that almost all gays and millenials and "hip" people were going to adopt vegetarianism which has almost become a religion for the cool people, but that is what has happened and it makes me think it's driven by Satan. The bible says that in the endtimes men will refuse what God has given them.

Anyway, if it's a cult, I don't think it is as bad as Mormonism. And many consider Catholicism to be a cult.

I would vote for any man who has a faith in the God of Abraham so that excludes Muslims, Buddhists, B'Hais, Unitarians, Hindus and Atheists.
