Now I dont tend to watch TV in the first place but come Halloween I make an exception (much like christmas time) so I was sitting here with my father over the past week/week and a half and in the evening we look for Halloween/horror shows or movies on TV and repeatedly cant seem to find much of anything.

Is this just me and him not liking what we actually do come across or do you think it might be something else. I have been noticing all these news stories about anti-halloween stuff, etc.

Just looking for thoughts on the matter.

I only use subscription services, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, ECT. There's always a pile of horror to watch.

I noticed it particularity with commercials. They're probably holding off their advertising budgets to go ape shit with Christmas commercials since that's where the money is.

Be prepared to get bombed with Christmas commercials starting in another week. They'll have you fed up with Christmas before Thanksgiving (remember that?) even gets here.

Well, I can't really say for sure because I don't watch that many shows/channels anymore. I already watched the Peanuts Halloween special. tbh I think it's all about Christmas--even at this day and time. One of the few shows I watch is "Little House on the Prairie" and Hallmark is once again starting to show Christmas movies starting on Oct 31st. It'll be nonstop Christmas until the new year.

Any other channels getting into Christmas at such an early time?

For those that like this show: Antenna TV is having an Alfred Hitchcock Presents marathon on Halloween. I love that show so I'll be tuning in and watching some of it.

I usually never watch the channel but I thought ABC Family had 31 days of Halloween? I recorded The Addams Family movies last week and noticed it had changed to 13 days of Halloween.

Thanksgiving was disappeared two or three years ago. It will be out of the stores this year - only a mention of traditional football games. Next year that will be gone.
